I used to be a big motors fan, but noticed a massive fall off in calls once Manhiem bought them out, I dont know what changed but i noticed the prices went up a LOT, we used to have cracking deals with our local evening post (newspaper) from motors spin off color adds in the classifieds for pennies it was all good then just dried up. Ebay would be great if i didnt have to compete with someone 400 miles away as the search engine is defaulted to best match not nearest first. So we are now on Gumtree and so far so good well a year or two in.

Yep sounds about right price wise, and works well for us again lower price bracket, it is very cut throat so expect the pond life to hound you via email I get daily my cars are the most expensive on there I just ignore them these days dont even waste my time trying to talk to them.
-
I would be walking straight out of that was the case

hard to tell, but you should have enough from the two pipes to be able to make one good one ?
-
I normally just go through ebay for this kind of problem, just type the car in your looking for and breaking, then copy and paste the same email to as many people braking that car, we just managed to get a real axle for a 2008 panda for £200 delivered some places where quoting £350 plus delivery, well worth a quick copy and paste.

Bit of a lottery though the whole system, which is why i prefer to buy from a non franchised auction, at least you get to go have a good look over them the day before and decide from there.

That does look swish, there is another thread on here where i commented about the need of a "own run website" for clarification purposes where as i said i no longer see the need for a personal one over say the factory layouts of motors and the likes, your website i would not class as a homemade jobby, its clearly had a great deal of time effort and money put into it, not your bung us £20 a month and use our templates kind of website.

I knocked mine on the head last year, just didnt seem to get the attention it used to, when your on motors, gumtree ebay facebook there all set up for you so no work or faffing around, i havent noticed any customer fall off since i stopped.

How much your rent is would be down to the size of your pitch, so unless you get that info its not going to give you much idea i would have thought. Trade insurance has gone through the roof over the last few years mostly down to it being abused, so i would expect a massive hike (so my broker tells me not my words)

if it does come up i will lend you my debit card to buy it and we can go halves ? but i wouldnt hold my breath if i was you

Any bets they work in the post office
-
This for me also works wonders

If there was one single answer to that then everyone would be running a car sales....wait a moment they are in all honestly thats an almost impossible question to answer as there are a zillion different variables, but good luck in your search.

very useful having mot info on there, the last few mot's advisories can tell a lot about how a car has been locked after, for example i was looking at a c1 today in the block and for the last 4 years every year the car has failed or advised brake pads and tyres on the front, makes you wonder if they can not do the basics right there is not a hope in hell on the thing being serviced or looked after in any shape or form, I skipped it and my mate bought it spoke to him a while after and yep as i thought he said its a right pig. so yep that would be a great feature to add. How do you find the pro version i cant seem to locate it -
Facebook boosting adds is a cracking system, we do get the odd stupid comment but its a click of a button delete and block bang off you go keyboard warrior.

Yikes 7 days to change your mind no way not happening on my watch, far to open to abuse i think once you get up and running with more stock ect that policy would just be a nightmare to live with.

I am somewhat skeptical why the manufactures haven’t stamped this out, there must be an advantage to them not doing so. Maybe with the massive growth of PCP deal and the likes, it isn’t in there interest to have cars come back with high miles, whilst they can charge for the additional mileage what do they do with them then? I bet they would rather have a low mileage example come back in which they could retail on through there dealer networks. Call my synclinal.

I follow this game plan, also gives the major advantage of doing all your own warranty issues

Edit your post allow for wise as an option and i would vote that.

Hi, sorry you have misunderstood my post I never intended to imply you had something to hide from the revenue, only to suggest that the revenue in my dealings with them viewed every single error I made as a plot to defraud them, so if they did turn up and things where way behind they would put two and two together and make six i would suggest every quater is to long a period to be trying to allocate every single spend and equal a base line profit maybe monthly, unless you have an on the ball book keeper or an expensive accounts package.

Self warranty is the way forward in my view each to there own really does depend on what you sell value how much you pull out of them on average so many variable factors but for me doing it myself wins hands down.
