thats traders talk for = bend you over backwards, shaft you, dump you some right lemons, off load the crap no one else wants and make you think there hot news, the list does go on but i am sure you get the picture.

"I have an inherent love for cars " that will fade quickly. But good luck

Lots of different views here some surprising to see how over people think

white streaks sounds like a cheap rubber product that is running.

Guess a lot of it depends on how much polish and what quality is put on during your first clean, if you use a good polish then you should be able to get away with a quick wipe down with a quick detailer or something like autosmart cobolt thats cheap and works well. Avoid a harsh shampoo that will strip the car of any polish seen a lot of people do that over the years.

yep this for me also, i even arranged some mot work this week for a customer from last year and had a drink out of it and a big thank you text, that said she did get a quote for brakes from kwik fit not to hard to half there price

Maybe one for trading standards rather than this kind of forum as (i am sure) most of us dont pull those kind of stunts so i have no idea where you stand.

Its quite common as any forum grows, new people come on board some nice some not so nice. Its also hard to tell if someone is being serious or having a laugh these days thank god for smiley faces

My personal experience with RBS would be taken down in an instant if i posted it, however my thoughts on Global Restructuring = bend everyone over who has equity in an attempt to balance our books no matter how well they have traded over many decades. -
I am more amazed its gone on for two pages, People must be bored

Barclays get my vote, however I think most of the big banks are very cautious with overdrafts these days -

SVA is like an mot, mostly used for kit cars to become road legal or imports that kind of thing, a lot of insurance companies are clamping down hard on the campa conversion industry, i would follow the top advise from above remove them and note it on the invoice you gave them the seats free of charge to do with what ever they liked. -
dont want to tell you how to suck eggs, but what ever you do make sure the timing is spot on there murder for timing up correctly.

Polo 3 cylinder no doubt there shocking engines, there on ebay from £275 up if you have a local mechanic who could swap it for you i would swap the engine and go again. I have done two this year avoid them big time, the 1.4ltr engine doesnt suffer this common fault.

And what happens if he stops paying 8 months down the line, who do the finance company go back to ? Sounds messy to me, one of my major rules is family and friends stay that as i do not do business with them.
-
god you know how to pick hard industries i have spent the last 5 years trying to get out of the rental market as the costs and rights now levied against a landlord is nothing short of insane. If i had my time again i would be working for a big company in the city, self employed is nothing but an uphill struggle these days.

Just for fun here are a few cars that sold this week over in Birmingham. HV56WAA - £1400 including the fee's KY58KZA - £1950 inc fees BP55BGZ - £1050 in fees VE55VHJ - £2100 in fees FD57BHV - £1100 in fees BK55ZVT - £1650 in fees VF04TVM - £500 in fees C17CPL - £2450 in fees Sorry mate those reg's mean nothing to me and inc fees also confuses me as everyone is on different rates or do you mean those are the rates that would apply to you? Its a very hard industry to get into i cant think of an easy way to learn it like say you took up mechanics or painting its a school of hard knocks.

another shout for Barlcays would advise you to avoid RBS with a barge poll but see you have already had similar dealings with them, hearing good things about Lloyds these days so i might let them have a shoot at my business next year some crazy savings to be had if you shop around, long gone the days of sticking to one anything these days, you want my business ? then fight for it. -
Re-mortgage something rates are almost give away these days, thats what i did last year rates so low you can pay it back treble quick
-
Have you seen the rates these kind of firms charge ? have you looked at other sources of funding
