you havent said ...........well you were such a nice man when we dealt with you......... thats what normally happens when its had a dealer or halfords safety check this is why its always best to do a full pdi a new mot and talk to the customer in a language they understand prior to reminding them what a bargain it is at bla bla bla i forgot to add the pdi is for you to note things like these and see if you can better them before it goes off i had a woman last week moaning about tyre depths of 6mm 6mm 8 mm 8mm she reconned they were nearly ready for change,my pdi i read out in front of her proved different, did i sell her a car ? no,i called her vinegar t*ts when she had gone -

clio 2006 dci red eml light and stop light and reduced power

no fancy plug in gizmo would find a blocked muffler yesterday i had a car rejected because it had a tingly noise on the test drive 6 drives up the road later ( customer gone) and two full inspections underneath i started looking for faults on the bodywork as after various analogies no one could confirm where noise was coming from it was windy and wet i found the aerial made of fibreglass had slightly delaminated and in the wind a strand was hitting the rest of the aerial and this was drumming through the roof can you even imagine finding this on a warranty problem? later in the day i had a body control ecu issue ,turns out after 4 hours an smd has failed in the speedo head but mileage is stored in the head so i cant swap out and the board is so small i cant put another smd in i had the whole dash in bits to get to this ,no plug in gizmo would find it just sayin............. -

its probably still on original exhaust and a baffle might have collapsed you dont notice problems like this till 5 miles into a journey just a thought -
i had an account with them and used to go probably twice a year for stuff like "we been to bognor" stickers and door lock surrounds that used to get damaged by scroats so im probably thinking 90's?
-
ive taken them out but forget i think theres a fastener underneath? nasty radios they keep going faulty plus the words wear off its a bluespot so i should be able to do the code if you get stuck after replacing,if just taking out and putting back in it should work without code need

Can anyone recommend a decent workshop in Penzance area
It's me replied to Autolink100's topic in General Dealer Chat
agree might cost £400 in transport but you are in charge no way would i let an unknown garage without a personal recommendation look under the bonnet of something like a l200 -
Section 75 of the Road Traffic Act makes it an offence for anyone to sell a vehicle that is not roadworthy personally if i was to sell a dangerous car through say ebay i would have some part worns fitted before offering it just to cover my bum
-
it would appear you are buying the wrong stock at the wrong price then having it delivered this is all wrong i assume? you get someone else to do mechanical work and valeting too? see so many people who do this job half hearted and then give up and a few years later come to me to buy a car,you can tell them a mile off as first thing they do is gun a cold engine, not had one for yonks and hasd one this very week, tried chipping me but i refused him, rather sell to a sensible person so akhtar reappraise your buying decisions work out how much you can add betterment to your product and do as much yourself as you can,get some trade plates and drive the cars back and view other stock whilst at the auction, its easy buying any stock, selling is the important part
