  1. I seriously could not manage without a card terminal . No credit cards though under any circumstances only debit card Card terminals are fast at point of sale and that's a serious plus for me , had 4 customers on Sunday and it has to be fluent and fast ,Sale complete , Invoice , Card in terminal , warranty booklet , pass them onto handover person and next customer please . Last bank transfer i took he could only pay £10,000 and he owed £10,795 , created me some time to sort that out . Finished up him borrowing money off his mother and me waiting for it to arrive which took two bloody hours .
  2. Calmed down now Casper back to my normal happy self
  3. Never had a Zuto commission so stopped them after i questioned that very fact , I sell through our own Finance connections very easy at better rates for the customer and far far quicker too .Customer walks in looks at car 30 mins later they drive away with finance in place . When you see the commission money coming in as you go forward selling finance you will change your mind later on believe me the no commission deals are hard to take on board after a while
  4. Why on earth would anyone use Zuto when there's no commission from them . They haven't got any products to sell have they . As for the dealer on the letter you have that does 40 deals a month and its free , just a load of bull isnt it , any dealer with that sort of finance sales penetration will be registered with more than one Finance house wont they . Then will be earning commissions as well . 24/7 wrote to me saying its now £180 + VAT
  5. We are on a paid deal with car Guru , its just about making a profit , but their customer leads are usually bone heads that couldn't decide what day it is in my view. Think its full of lonely pillocks that send emails out " is this car still for sale " NO I just advertise the fecking thing for the laugh you clown , NO one ever rings off CG either Sells a few of the cheaper stuff 2k /3k stuff is their limit I reckon , we sell the px stuff on there really , Main stock we have has NO chance .
  6. Might make main dealers and super mkt NEED to earn on the metal instead of ripping the heart out of Finance deals and putting bad taste in customers heads . If they have to earn money on Metal us indies will shine through maybe , lets hope so .
  7. Depends on the turnover you can provide them with , how long you been in business? , Where your premises are at? . Selling from home could be a problem , if they see only a few cars that also could be a problem , haven't got any signs up outside your business that's a problem . Then it depends on the type of terminal you want too . Roaming mobile , internet based , wired in,all have differing costs from £15 / £35 a month Ring round a few and see where the land lies in your area and what the rules are would be my advice . No one company fits all situations .
  8. Silly modern day daft need a cuddle comment is this one . CAN YOU IMAGINE THE FFING FEES IF THEY HAD TO WARRANT CARS OMG
  9. Me Too My answer is usually " why would I pay to advertise it if its not here "
  10. Be some difficult times ahead for these loons 14 day return , love it or return it wow , think i might have one for the long trips , day 13 back it goes , Didn't love pal
  11. I love those sort of money multiplications Man after my own thinking
  12. Bought one to me last week with NO MOT on it , the driver had no idea , Good luck with Nottingham
  13. Say that again , some of the prices yesterday were eye watering . Did you also know BCA / WBAC actively go through the adverts looking for private cars to buy , they have dedicated staff to do the job and trawl the country .
  14. I'm certainly not reliant on trade with the EU , But i remember when two friends lost their trawlers after the EU stole their fishing grounds , one committed suicide actually his losses were so high , We lost touch with great traders after we joined the Common mkt and wasn't allowed to trade with them, after that it got worse . So trading deals works both ways in my view and i have never liked the close shop EU way . Regards my customers and yours , My view again is there will be customers in abundance when we get Britain back under our control again and stop the EU taking our factories and work out of this country , Plenty of British people would like the work I bet and that's were all our customers are , give people the work and pay them " they will spend it if they have it in their pockets " that money is no good for Britain if its in a Dutch/French/Polish/ workers pocket . We cant pay them if we don't make things , That's were my customers are . Regard trading with the EU , what on gods earth makes people think the EU farmers , Car Makers , Wine cheese and anything else trades wont want to trade with us after we leave , we want Britain back not build a bloody wall , we like our EU friends , its not war . We just need control back . watch others leave when we go . I for one don't believe a down turn is heading our way , but we need out before we lose anything else , to make it work , or we will get the euro , and a bunch of rules and they will bleed us dry doing it .
  15. The economy is heading up not down isn't it ,making our own choices will be the benefit not the disaster but that's brexit and its also very British . Every business that goes to the wall has done something wrong THEMSELVES not Brexit , Not the lack of trade , not the so called lack of customers . They actually stretched their business with too heavy a loans , Stock funded , overdrafts , finance loans , 2nd mortgages and the rest they get up to . Looks good , even great on paper but they just push too FAR . They forget that a loan is there in principle to making money to invest BACK in the business not spend on houses, holidays, and whatever else . So those that choose this way to achieve the business are their own regression in the making if they don't control it , some lots don't . I feel for those who go under for genuine reasons , but the high flying loan mad junkies that go bust , " good riddance i say " I was taught the hard way , sell invest , sell invest , slower i admit& harder oh it is , but when it gets going and the takings are yours as well as the profits its a nice feeling as many of you old school traders will agree with .
  16. Agree with your thoughts all the way .
  17. You wont catch me buying an electric bike there's a camper van place next door and hes got one , Spezialised I think its called ,£7,000 its cost he said , I pinch it for fetching milk and take it in the shop too
  18. 5.0litre V8 petrol is the way to go and an electric push bike for the city 25 mph down the pavement , its sooooo much fun watching em jump , not so good today though its persisting down with the wet stuff , solution ! "stay out the towns on wet days "
  19. Casper its like bloody monsoon season here , going to start selling boats soon , " now there's a thought " Sat was torrential all day , but we had the busiest day for a long time think they were bored and bought cars instead of anything else . Raining now and just sold two in the last hour , Buying them is fecking hard though , Might have to buy a few Water Skiing boats , Thought about selling caravans for two milliseconds , but i don't think i could with all honesty talk to people about where the bloody bed is , how big the cooker is and can you get three people in a cold shower for a group cuddle .
  20. My sons a mechanical prep genius my friend , that's my secret weapon . Regarding the no losses well I'm known as the smiling assassin here , a loss isn't acceptable in my head .
  21. You need a mechanic not a forum pal . Give chosen mechanic some folding notes and he will diagnose it for you , Simples really
