  1. MAC , my son swears by them , Built better than Snap On in his opinion . But it did cost the same as a Large car though Now we have three of the things . I remember writing the cheques out
  2. I was watching James May on telly last night in Japan sitting in one of those He had his hair blowing in the wind he did , Your mam might be right
  3. Probably saw him driving it and thought he looks a c*** in that thing
  4. Three at BCA a few months back , not seen them lately though , pity they were very good actually . Maybe they've been looking for you to buy the bargains but you never went to see them A female at Mannheim is very annoying , very loud , very abrupt , "who'll start me off on this one then " ,3 grand then on this one then " What will ya giv me on this one then " Got a bid one this one then " Everyones thinking for god sake shut up
  5. As a 30year time served detailer Trade girl I would say a DA " dual action " polisher is a must to train on . The DA system will not in any way give the finish of a rotary but rotary polishers are a difficult beast to handle when starting out .
  6. Fiats are slow sellers , but yours is too cheap in my opinion . Your missing the search bracket between £4k to £4.5 k Joe bloggs knows what they are worth and your at the top end of the £3,500 to £4,000 search . Your car is cheaper than the privates . Just my opinion
  7. Think we got them all here this afternoon Debit card terminal has overheated today , so hope your right about buying is cheap as we are spending some obscene money this week , be like sending my wife to the shops on her own Whats this Aldi place too " never heard of it " I'm allergic to shopping in actual shops
  8. More wax on wax off at lunch time Casper
  9. The quality of adverts will be the search criteria , not low to high . But the price markers will still remain eg ; Low , Good , Great
  10. That's a very true statement . I see what works as good value not usually how cheap .
  11. Hi Fat Boy . Your niche could well be large 4x4 motors then Welcome aboard ,
  12. If the guy has the keys it doesn't mean he can drive it on the public highway . If you have keys at home for a car and a son takes the car out , he can be prosecuted for taking the car without permission . He was fixing it on private premises , Now he also has his own insurance too so there would be your saviour i would think . If you had the car insured and hes driving it it may well be a claim against you then his insurance company to reimburse your loss . Worth a look . I would report him to the police for driving your car without your permission and have him summoned for theft of a motor vehicle . The keys being at Lookers makes no difference , theres hundreds of keys at Lookers . You drove the car to lookers so you didn't give him permission there did you .
  13. Thats not good . How did the car get to Lookers ? What sort of motor was it ?
  14. What a pair of plonkers . I would have had to say something to them
  15. I was thinking this , the chassis number must be different and will give the police the correct plate number for the smashed up car .
  16. Don't waste your money pal , Every one I've ever seen are complete Shite . They dare not tell you its a good car because if you find a fault you blame them . If they say its got issues , you believe them and you don't get the car , but they get your money . All they do is drink coffee write a report to their benefit and take your dosh .
  17. I might join the private bit . Is it fun ?
  18. Shhh Don't shout too loud , Good job the wife cant get on here Sue doesn't need blowing up any more , Lets just say she wouldn't drown . As for boobs " I really don't know what you mean Trade Girl " Thought we were the subject of boobs oops i meant tyres
  19. An Auctioneer called Sue charges a lot more the 20p to blow anything Iv'e been told , But she certainly isn't deflated . Could be the person to contact , then your tyre would get blown and your deflation wouldn't be a problem any longer .
  20. Why on gods earth would you want to be the cheapest in 60 miles
  21. Pull it out all the way , wipe clean with damp cloth , Spray silicone on mech and the belt , they just get clogged
  22. It works , she tried it , only she got excited about lol
  23. You need a couple of ideas in your head of how to close the deal , Plant the seed that its a nice car on the test drive , find out before the test drive if they have looked at more of the same model . Coming to the end of the test drive ask the question " Well it drives nice doesn't it ? I would think you like it too ? As you get back to the office and out the car the closure question . Do you like enough to buy it then ? and i'll get the tea on while we do the paper work . Why ? because lots of times sales are lost because the trader doesn't close and the customer doesn't know what comes next , so they wander off till I get them and close the deal
  24. That's very good basic business sense . My sales techniques offer more advice about the days weather than the car . They will decide to buy from you or not , let them choose . Answer questions with a very short yes or no eg "how many services ? , the answer is 6 " NOT 1 at BMW in , 2 at jack spratts garage on and 3 more at John jones but it needs another in 3,000 miles . , details kills sales because who your talking to doesn't understand anything about a cars working . Q ;Has the chain been replaced? , Answer is "the chain on this car is absolutely fine" because they are not looking for it to be changed but they've read on google that the chain goes wrong , so assurance is needed in their mind that this one is no problem . Be sure its ok though of course , reputation is important
  25. Extremely good looking £450 px 22yrs and on her own She was in good hands Casper and so was my bank account cant use the heated wheel for four months either
