  1. Original customer would have been watching the add no doubt and seen its gone, you just know he will now have to trawl through a load of cars to find one as good as he let slip silent smug grin time.
  2. just smells of carnage to me, you want to pay for something before you see it, no matter what they say on the phone private punters version of nice and ours are worlds apart.
  3. My son, his lives wouldnt be worth living without the x-box At his age i was out there three jobs and flat out bashing anything in a skirt, thank god i dont live in scotland.
  4. 42 years well your a few years ahead of me and i am almost ready to retire so you must be overdue when it does get as bad as they hint i hope to be as far away from the rain and cold as possible.
  5. I have been hearing that scare story for over 25 years now and whilst it has got a lot worse it’s still no where near as bad a the press makes out. I remember fitting a category one alarm to a bmw 1998 model and you had to put pins into the central locking loom to interface with the alarm and cars cdl it was the talk of the industry that we are all doomed. skip forward twenty years and the alarm manufacturers now program the alarm before sending it to you and it’s four cables alarm fitted now only takes an hour old system would take up to six.
  6. Have you found a partner yet or are you gojng to be selling yourself ? Maybe call your lot titanic.
  7. Ten thousand customers a month cant complain about those numbers do they all come via dealers or do you offer your services direct to customers if so do you mind sharing the details.
  8. Couldnt a customer just raise the same dispute with experian or the million other credit agencies offering free this and free that to sign up, your approach is different i will give you that and a unique approach to target dealers to get to your end customer but just how big is that market i wonder cant see it being that big.
  9. I went for Physical strength over fancy cameras half no 90% of the scum bags who brake in dont even bother hiding there faces there just waiting to be caught for 100 different offenses and get them all taken into account for a softer sentence (anyone else think that is the most retarded system ever) So we went for security shutters with pin locks through the floor and to the side, padlocks with double thick box section covering it, the rails to the shutters have box section welded to the rear so you cant prize the shutter out of the tracks, all the tools and diagnostics are then locked away in another steel fortress covered in ply. even with a 9" cordless grinder it would be a nightmare to get in, and yep they have tried three times and failed. But all of the above doesnt come close to letting my dogs run free on the weekend, the scum bags soon get to here the garage has dogs even though them come home with me at night, local crime prevention officer said dogs without a shadow of doubt are the biggest deterrent to brake ins. my sweet pair, saying go on brake in i dare you
  10. Had a neighbour have a mondeo on a 12 plate 42k and the same box went to much ford stand by the boxes up to 5 years old so he was told, had to part ex it for pennies

  13. Sore subject, i am due to renew and i get this load of bullocks " Unfortunately due to the policy hitting minimum premiums there is no scope for premium reduction. Apologies that I can’t be of any further help with regards to premium." Even though i have reduced cover removed tool cover and added that to my buildings contents as it was almost free to do so. they still want to increase the policy by £395

Don’t discount the big boys we use Barclays and they offer some great freebies, free hokiday insurance handy as I go away a lot discounted house insurance free mobile phone insurance up to three devices, handy this year as my son lost his iPhone and I cracked my screen far to many times. all adds up our service charge is only £14.99 a month plus vat we covered that with the holiday insurance already
  17. I am with tv all the way, stick to what your doing there is no more money in the newer stuff if anything you less, adding value as you is the key to making a decent profit once you start buying newer kit that apart from a wash and service that’s the only value you can add anyone can do that. People often ask me about starting businesses ect and I reply the same every time be honest and work out your strengths and weakness and stick within them boundaries the grass may seem greener on the other side but once you get there you find it’s astra turf.
  18. Close brothers set me up within a few days no hassle very helpful indeee, seems to be different from area to area.
  19. A very odd comment to come from the Bank though, thought there main job was to maintain stability outside the control of government, that kind of talk is hardly productive.
  20. Oddly enough we was talking about this yesterday i bought last month a Golf GT TDI 2007 154k one fleet owner 10plus svs stamps with two belt and pump changes not a mark on it, i only bought it for a young lad we employ who is down on his luck long story but a female is behind it no shock there, anyway i give £1150 for it plus fees. Collected it monday and it drove like it was a hovercraft not a single thing wrong with it was going to give it to the employee but he was in a&E as his crazy misses had tried to poison him so he was having his stomach pumped. The pub opposite was busy as always with the football nutters shouting something i couldnt understand and three youngsters waddled over, so called Karl from the workshop as we do (Karl is 6ft+ and 18 stone part time electrician part time MMA fighter) Karl deal with them i asked anyway Karl came back in saying one of the louts wanted to buy the Golf in the corner and has been looking for the GT TDi model for ages but there all to expensive he only has £2500 saved up, i said mr football lout i dont know how your team is doing but today is your lucky day and three hours later after the game finished of course he turned back up with the dollars. So apart from the very long winded story about crazy youngsters in love trying to kill each other, and me judging a book by its cover we sold for a nice profit a high mile golf. See the guy everywhere as it happens he has changed the wheels added some plastic bits but seems over the moon with the car.
  21. I see it totally different, the inspections in fact will be thousands time more as every business is now being inspected in real time instead of waiting for an inspection or your accounts throwing up something worth looking at. The beta platform has been in place for softwear suppliers for a while now, my accountant showed me the Xero version looks a right pain, of course HMRC are playing it as a time saving operation there no doubt going to be making a large fortune from this venture, one thing i was not aware was the linking to the bank accounts there is a section to fill in deposits and aged debtors balances but i havent seen or heard it linking to bank accounts, do you have any reference point or links i could see showing that requirement.
  22. So has most people so what softwear system have you chosen for coming April.
