Tried watching the video even tried skipping bits,he would have failed to make a purchase from me,I once gave a customer a phone number and told them my car wasn't to the standard they aspired but the supplied number well may be able to help them,it was the nearest main ford dealer but I never told them that (pre Internet so they couldn't duck duck)

Offered a customer his money back today and he was worried how he would get to work, I offered him an old sit up and beg bike we have somewhere on site It floored him actually because he thought we were going to fob him off but I reckon I can sell it for more if I refund Strange times

Brilliant I still want to one day have a car where all the doors fall off it as a customer approaches, until then I just have the red nose

Agree, adjustment doesn't even seem to be a main failure requisite anymore ,talking i10 I had one of those and the release arm was solid on the gearbox,it was like near impossible pushing clutch pedal down,a dose of eurocarparts cheapest spray oil soon had the arm sorted Alla Barry cade

I like to use cctv to do the groundwork on customers walking on,their body language often tells you if they are buyers or tryers, its not foolproof but just another tool to help weed le out the ask the wife brigade

Hold the front page Profit is a dirty word in the uk Wait till the new buyer breaks gdpr and pesters her for the spare key and locking wheel nut

Selling sporty stuff has always brought anoraks and muppets To be honest it's why I've always steered clear of such carriages Never send customers instructions like that because they will read it that you are arrogant and if there's a problem later you come across as unapproachable Carry on as you are ,every customer is a learning curve

Fiat's with this setup have a always worried me to the point I've avoided them after cvt puntos and the magnets in the flywheel mk 1 puntos (who remembers them eh?) Anyway a Google to fiat 500 owners shows its common and even was a recall in the USA, seems its a problem with the sillynoids and even a full scan won't show a fault code No easy fix Thanks for advising though

I've got loads of them in my freezer waiting for prices to rise You could say I've squirreled them away for a rainy day.

Just moved this car and the brakes went with a bang, to be fair I had bought it before Christmas a n d washed it, then its not moved till now, this is why we always remove all road wheels inspect clean adjust replace anything irrespective of service history/ mot It's a delaminated front brake shoe by the way if the picture isn't clear Can you imagine if this was missed on a pdi and it was involved in a police/vosa accident investigation Stay safe out there Oh and a happy new year to all members old a n d new And the ones middle aged, don't want to be accused if wokeness

im at a loss with this thread i do a scan of all cars and enter what i find on my inhouse for my eyes only pdi how do you guys get on when a car gets a flat battery and you cant say clear the airbag code how do you know it hasnt stored pending codes you must have good mechanics if you depend on them reading advising and repairng all issues worst case scenario is you take it to them and they just clear the codes and you drive off to take your pretty pictures only for the light to return

You can just imagine them at home in their stained onesies, the 84 inch TV courtesy of universal credit held up with 4 inch nails on the wall facing the curtain less windows so all the neighbours can see it, the central heating on 24 degrees, the baby screaming in the background, feliciar on her 3rd cig they got from under the counter at the European open all hours store, dog barking (get down shep) So there you go I got a Christmas card yesterday and he's just rung me, coincidence or what? I ignored it. going home at 4 coming back next year
