Oh My God they are all out today Your so greedy wanting to earn a living and not taking the nice mans offer , He wanted you to take the risk , warrant the car , clean and inspect it , MOT it Service it , and present it for sale for £50 profit , wasn't he generous , and you would have had a quick 50 quid too ,

  8. Had two calls today , yep TWO on same subject . Hello I bought a car off you last year , One in Aug one in Oct 18 Both want to sell me their cars back , not refund as no complaints , just want to sell their cars as one is planning to buy a house , one is moving to London . Turns out that they want the full retail price back they paid for it One was £9,495 bought in August last year on Finance HIM " I had a 3k px and £6,495 on finance " so when I come do you pay the finance off and give ME the 3k or does the finance send the 3k to me OMG Me "whats the point of me buying the car at what you bought for ? Him " its what you do isnt it , sell cars Had to explain the meaning of PROFIT Half hour later I get another call " hello its Olly , Hello Olly how can I help ? Need to sell my car I bought last Oct cos I'm working in London from next week , When can I bring it back ? me , How much you looking for then , er £3,995 cos that's what i paid you Oh and to top it off , some pratt brought her car back for her headlight to be replaced on warranty , BUT WE didn't sell the car to you did we , No she goes but the other place is shut , ME !!! that's because they are in Spain for two weeks So your not going to do it then she says , NO, unless you pay us , I'll leave it then and storms out Must be mad peoples day out today , so after explaining the meaning of profit AGAIN twice and refusing warranty on someone else's car I'm going home , its windy raining and I'm hungry Always tomorrow

  10. First rule of business Akhtar is this . If its not working for you ITS YOUR FAULT , Got it, ITS YOUR FAULT . You are doing the job WRONG , Its no one else to blame . I would outbid you at every turn , I will make you Puff & blow and call me a pillock at the block , , But its because I know my mkt and KNOW I'm going to make a handsome profit . Years of self critique have learned me lessons I don't forget . I also do NOT work for peanuts either . I also sell 20/30 units a month , Money in the metal and bolt ons too Aurfur Daly has said we are pro's at what we do and he's right , You have to learn the trade and an auction catalogue is NOT where its at either , I don't need a catalogue . You have to ;learn how to bid , when to bid , when to stop , when to go higher , what sells , what doesnt , how quick they turn and how slow , Know the stocks faults and how to fix it , How to sell , how to present yourself , What to say to a customer , Know EVERY THING about the car your selling , How to prep it , where to sell from and were not to sell from. Some people are born sellers , other are not .and this makes a huge difference , Come here and you would leave with the car ,that i would promise you . Some cant sell , some cave into letting the customer control , Some cant prep , others its natural , Lots to learn in this job Akhtar , its not BCA Gold card + Catalogue + Wave arm in air + get car and sell it . YOU Have to work at EVERY part of this job and it has to run in your blood veins . Good luck by the way , All the very best .
  11. I do have to agree Jack with your comment Every time you go to an auction some part time starter is bidding the job up to work on £500 or less . They could earn more stacking money shelves at a super mkt .
  12. Time to move on to something else I reckon after two years of losing money . OR Put your heart and sole into it and get on with doing the job properly . Harsh but true words you will learn as you go on . If the going gets tough , the tough get going and work harder , or change course to something you understand more of maybe .   13. Same here my friend . Got three cars at home including the dog car, the car park shopping car ,and the going out for dinner car . Drive a different stock car home every night to keep things moving , Battery , brake discs etc
  14. Me mmmmmmm I'm old school No way I'd knock £500 off a car in the first place BUT ,an 8k car should not require corner scuffs painting as they would be done before she saw it , . Deals a deal in my world , You don't get your deposit back , but I wouldn't Welch out on a deal either the other way .

  18. My Brother in law went into E Halshaw to look at a Tiguan £16,601 Came out with over £1,600 in bolt on's that he never knew were added on . PX was stated at £4,900 but reduced to £4,000 on paper , He asked me to go in with him to check out the car , it was still full of rubbish So I took the sales girl to pieces over the deal , never mentioned the state of the car as I like them filthy so they come to us independents . Result was I took £2,500 out of her deal after a heated discussion and she finally said yes To better PX and NO Bolt on's , THEN WE WALKED AWAY and I got him a Tiguan for £16,295 , we took his car to WBAC and then E Halshaw and got more money than they offered us after the argument at £4,900 He got 5k Result is I had a profit on the Tiguan , got rid of his high miler , took a finance commission too . Brother in law saved around 3k on his spend . How people fall for dealing with these crooks is astonishing .

I did take to card details and didn't put it in the terminal as I smelled a trap from a sweet old couple trying that scam on a couple of years ago They sent his brother "so called " with a lorry and I told him it had already been collected two hours ago mate , hope he paid you . He wasn't happy The old couple were trying to buy the mother of all Renault Megane CUP 275 £16,000 off us and had been to see it , but their cards had all been declined , all 4 of them they said oh don't worry we have more cards at home we will fetch one , but phoned me instead and that's where the scam lay Charge back as it was a stolen card when I reported it , The scamming bastards . Just thought i was thick , WRONG
