Best place , let some private buy it I had a car like that once , put it to the block and went and hugged it when it was about to go thru bid on my own car against a private and took it over CAP Clean by £300 and it was knackered . Lots of fun as I reckon I earned £700 extra . -

VW , Skoda does the same on lots of dashes Button ,but no phone connection , its an extra . I always tell them its available to buy from main dealer , as its nearly always not fitted . . If its not on your advert , its not yours to fit Simples

Working here too Nik . Just got Close Brothers Commission Cheque today for Nov , made me smile . Did Three on Moto Novo on self prop , so that will be near One with a Broker for a slightly subby deal but still got £200 out of it . Two on Blue and they pay straight away . see what Dec brings , We don't usually do much Finance in Dec for some reason , Jan goes nuts though , Here's hoping Takes a while Mark to learn how to swap the customer to Finance then get them through , remember its a 120% of CAP Retail so adjust the deposit to max the commissions . Sometime the customer is better off giving £200 dep and not the £1,500 they enquired about When you do the first deals though the extra commission makes you grin .

Terrible things to drive , slow as snails but one day I'll buy one just for the kick of it . Shouldn't be on about that as i'll go hunting one down now , Wife will go whats that thing out there . -
Took a C30 as px on CAT d two years ago . Sold it easy enough but they do attract dozy billys who haven't a clue what cat d means , its just people thinking oh that's cheap . I avoid them as much as possible

My wife loves OUR lawn mower , I cant start it LOL so I've never used it . I love deals like that Tony , the MX5 engine was designed for a turbo and respond very well when fitted , If had took that it would have done a few laps of the circuit at Cadwell -

I have the XFR 5.0 litre supercharged , both rear boxes have smaller items fitted and my son has changed the pulleys on the supercharger with a remap to 610bhp sounds like a spitfire when it takes off , As you say getting attached is hard but I love this thing to bits . Smile all the past anything on the road Looking at the F type 5.0 next i reckon , sod the 3 extra seats LOL Other toy is a Suzuki Hyabusa , Tweaked to 200 bhp with GP pipe on it , now that bad ass rearranges your internal organs , only went to the bike shop for a can of oil and came out with the bike , awesome thing to ride . -
I tell em bid accepted come and fetch it . When they get here its sold , Mate at that price my wife bought it LOL your to late .

90% of the buyers for that type of car don't look at service history here , I just go there's your pack ,Here's the Service invoice from us , two keys , MOT and your purchase invoice , they leave and its never serviced ever again . One or two might ask , but not many , not like selling performance stuff as they are totally different mind set of people . Iv'e sold that age at £2,700 easy with 70k on the clock so depends where you are , I would try £2395 at 85 and no service . Used to trade no service history little choppers on , but service and sell em now . Still walk out

Hi Rovex , Starting with a Nissan Leaf , weird choices in my oldstyle pattern of thoughts , Post up from this one that says get 4 Micra's instead , " great advice in my mind " look around when your out and about " see any Leafs running about ?" No, thought not , Slow sellers then would be my first port of thought . But I don't knock the trier in you Rovex so good luck with the venture and I hope it all goes well , least you wont have a petrol bill each month

House hunting , Video sales , DVD sales /rentals and now he chooses USED Car sales mmmmm and finance sales Rentals/New sales may work with this type of platform but even that has competition doesn't it . Used Sales , How used ? 1 month exec models or 7 year old used cars with 70k on the clock? . I've just had two customers in to look at two different Cars so I shown both this Post , They both Laughed at the prospect of buying online without seeing the car . Both customers are looking at different price range cars , 1 Looking at £8,495----- 2nd one looking at £3795 both said they would want to see the cars first and they don't see how that can change , because they have both seen junk for sale on their searches . Both guys were mid 20's too so not the old fashioned groups . looks like another interference in the job till its goes belly up like the rest of the trials that we've seen come and go . Wonder if they think you just pick the phone up and order used cars from wholesaler then resell them Best of luck I reckon

The most memorable part ex you ever took?
David Horgan replied to Nick M.K.'s topic in General Dealer Chat
we didn't take this in But it went like this and its a while ago 1984 to be precise . Chap has a Suzuki GSX 550es its a year old with 1500 miles , wants to px it for a Yamaha FJ 1100 " told you it was a while ago " Gets the part ex figure and then takes the bike to his mates and they strip it , mates got same model but was a courier so had 95,000 + miles . They took every part and swapped it except the frame and block , Gear box ,Clutch , Head with cams ,Crank , pistons wheels , forks , swing arm , sprockets , chain, tank footpegs the whole shabang changed , it rode like the bag of spanners it was . Couriers bike was like new ,. Later that month I saw the bike , and some one I knew had bought it , he hated the thing saying these F######g 550's are f#cking useless . I never told him as I knew all concerned , even to this very day he Hates Suzuki with a passion , wont touch them . -
Dealer working from home vs Neighbour (problem)
David Horgan replied to premi-motor's topic in General Dealer Chat
Jealous green eyed monsters , they cant afford ONE car never mind 10 cars , only thing they can do is multiply the retail prices on your web site and then get angry isnt it , One of our relatives asked us for £5,000 loan once , when I said no , He stated I could afford it because I had over 100k invested in cars so whats 5 k , wonder he didn't get punched . Live and let live I reckon . Always one though .
