Customers don't believe its the truck that they are going to buy . Looks like a catalogue copy -
Better off without him I reckon . Nothing suprises em more than when you say " sorry you cant have it " all think they are the only customer and we are all brasic and desperate

Welcome to the industry Kelly , drive and passion sound very positive indeed . Thats your first qualification passed Advice from me for your chin : You only work half a day when on your own ; "Chose which 12 hr shift you want " Second part that proceeds the first advice is ; "If your awake your at work " Remember this too from an old hand , ITS NOT WHAT YOU TAKE , ITS WHAT YOU MAKE , Got it , profit is NOT a dirty word and you do any thing for nothing just make sure its for you two only . Best bit is this though , if you enjoy your business you will never work again , its all fun Good luck and enjoy the journey .

Another is www.skyinsure.co.uk temp insurance , gives a day insurance and is easier in some respects to CUVVA as they don't require Apps and pictures . Takes 5 mins too . Cuvva is good for the younger ones as its App .

Only thing we've found was £138 in pound coins under the spare wheel of a £100 scrapper all loose as well on the floor pan . Did know of one trader who found 5k in tenners though , Mostly its sweets stuck to carpets for us ,

Bit of a long ramble is that reply my friend . I fell asleep half way through . Get it back fix it , give it back , don't let his chosen garage or his mate touch it in anyway . 15 hours is a joke . Remember its 11 yr old and you are entitled to use remanufactured or used parts if you wish , *Golden rule* , fetch it back so its all under YOUR Control OR THEY WILL Rip your wallet for sure . Mistake number 1 YOU let his matey fix it , bad move pal .

Think new traders are getting confused myself over the need to earn a PROFIT CAP clean means makes retail money , take it back , moan the job is fu##ed and yer cant earn owt, then repeat till broke Actually heard a guy talking to his co partner at Manheim about getting £200 across it , Sad times Got thick customers trying to finance a 9k motor over 60 months for £200 a month and traders talking about £200 profit on a 5k car . Strange times . And we wonder why prices are all over the place

All depends on what your direction is really , what age , price , type , sports , starter cars , family cars , estates , man or auto , blue or red ,big or little , fast or slow , 7 seater , 4x4 , vans ,need to find a direction your happy with first i reckon , then stock comes from various sources and after a while you will get the feel . Some buy private , some hate auction , some buy from dealers , ebay , online auction , all very different One thing for sure there isn't a one rule one answer fits all and if there was no body will tell you .

Got some of those here too £200 a month for £15,995 motor over 60 months , no deposit , gave guy the calculator and he hadn't a clue

I had my first "my mate will come and inspect it"

Wouldn't have revved my car to redline without leaving the door of the building very very quickly "preferably horizontal" . Don't let them remove caps , dip sticks or start cars when cold " period " Not qualified in my opinion " On test drive if they do anything remotely stupid I terminate the drive in an instant and drive back with them as a passenger . All about being in control . Take control from the start and they know their place . -
Two Cracking Dogs you have there I have two German Shepard's at home after suffering break ins 20 yrs ago we swapped to Dog protection " fully trained on command" fearsome pair too " . One night wife goes there's someone under the car , Went out with the pair of them , one each side of car growling with teeth smiling at him under the car . Pulled him out and left the dogs guarding him from midnight till 6am ,Car was on the back of the house so he was safe all night bless him , called the police and they took him away in a van , not the police car as he had pissed himself in fear as every time he tried moving they went for him growling . It was Feb too and he was frozen stiff " hadn't moved for 6 hours " poor thing haha Didn't half make the police laugh , us too . The guys had steak dinners that night and a few steak dinners before and after too . Still got two Shepard's to this day . I do like Dobermans as well though , just cant justify 4 dogs .

MX5 Owners cant stand em Just slightly worse than Porsche Owners in my view . Both send shivers down my spine , and i really have to sharpen my tongue if we are unfortunate to take one PX just to get my own back , PX questions spin the owners head out and get em wriggling with their lies about its condition and service when I get going . OMG £14 better off without him I reckon

Complaint - customer demand return car

No service history , 135,000 miles for £2.5k and you didn't expect it back . Brave in my view , Only one place for that end of life heap "night auction " Refund , get it back , spin that for 3 weeks and you will need a skip , Lesson learned the hard way "ouch " ps you also need to keep a slush fund in your bank . -
Mini Cooper S engines wear the oil rings out quite quickly , 2,000miles can wear them out , known fact , Probably not the head gasket but would be done at repair stage anyway . Anyone repairing one of these engines needs to strip it , re ring it , de coke it , new stem valves , new gaskets , change oil twice and use proper proper oil not rubbish oil . They can use litres oil without smoking , You need it compression testing , diagnostics is not the way to go with this fault , its mechanical pal . My suggestion is the rings were worn at the point you sold it , you just didn't see it coming , 2 k finished the job if Customer wasn't aware it was using oil . Get it back minus mileage charge , pay back , fix it properly and resell . The Cooper S engines are little beggars , great when working but we have rebuilt nearly every one we've ever sold ,minimum they have is chain , tensioner and guides and a new turbo feed pipe . Lesson learned the hard way , but you need it back before the bills start getting silly , My view of course , but I know these little engines very well , they are just so unreliable , even a joey mechanic fixing it wont go far enough and you will bear that problem too if its not fixed properly .
