  1. Slow learner 2nd time haha You were born to deal , get on with it
  2. Sub Prime sends shivers down my spine . If they were going to reject it I think they have to stop using the car not keep using it for 2,000 miles What the nature of the complaint ?
  3. Had that today David plus other stupid questions Tel Caller ; Iv'e seen an MOT advisory in 2016 for a drivers obligatory mirror on a car you have , can you tell why its now NOT an Advisory . Answer ; Er YES ITS BEEN CHANGED ,had a new mirror Q ;What was it . A ;Cracked Glass Q;How did it crack A;Frost damage . Q;Oh that's ok , can i come and look at the car this afternoon then . I never saw the car till last week , I think some people think we have the cars ready for them round the back for ten years ,
  4. Tester near us , MOT 's his own car , puts legal plates on car in car park , tests car , put illegal plates back on car when in car park .
  5. Two peas in a pod If got tappets I love it .
  6. Never had a proper job "ever " 15yrs old started self employed , Never stopped working since , that was 20 yrs ago lol "i wish " more like 48 yrs ago Never looked back . Retired once 7 yrs ago ,phew , close call that was , bored shitless , soon opened up again , love the deal , live for the deal , always have done . Go for it DC01 But remember this , 12 hours is half a day and theres 7 days in a week , I'm addicted though , Even took a call on Christmas day two years ago and sold a car with a px thats actually come back last week for me to take another £1,500 out of Customers are very kind people
  7. car guru customers hardly ever answer the emails , if they do its whats your best price for this car . waste of time in my view and i would never pay for their service Just me though .
  8. Seen that with Audi Main dealer , same dealer serviced an A4 to 70k miles and when we took the oil filter off the filter was like mushy tissue paper .
  9. Business plans make me laugh . How can you put a business plan together when the cost of each car is so variable , return price of said cars is so variable depending on how much each car needs spending on it to make it saleable. Then even if one car sold quick it doesn't mean another will sell at the same price or same speed as the last one . Chances are you cant even repeat the same purchase after selling the said car , Turnover is only any good if your rolling on the floor laughing only one thing is important when you work for yourself PROFIT got it . Its all about what you MAKE , NOT what you take .
  10. Haha spot on Nick. My sons one of those , can rebuild anything , great on one hand , but can be restrictive when buying as he spots things most of us don't even know exists . On other hand we get some proper cheap cars that are declared non runners , Swings and roundabouts i suppose Long as we all have fun and make a few quid hey , happy days
  11. Nothing wrong with German cars Skoda , SEAT , inc of course As long as you have 10k invested in special tools and an understanding of diagnostics beyond a Master Tech level Plus the knowledge to replace chains , Tensioners , Manifolds , repair DSG megatronic units , plus a dozen extra parts that affect other parts that bring lights on for no reason If you know all that they are ok . Because god knows how traders afford to fix these things with 3rd party bills and then make a profit . Beggars belief why traders in auctions are so slow to pick up on these failures and how much they cost to fix . Actually watched a Golf R go into BCA with a rattle " needed new chain " , EML declared on and the code on report was not the chain code but a manifold fault . Made £1,050 over CAP clean , Seriously heard said trader say " be a lamba " WOW will he be surprised when he gets the bill Soon need to be a mechanic to sell cars nowdays .
  12. My money is on a 320d 2.5 /3.0 six pot engines are so much better Useless bloody engines the 118/120 d things
  13. I'm old fashioned Umesh , Just like you Told you that once I reckon , those two out on test drive I told you about on the phone other day, SOLD , that's what counts but you know that , we think alike you and I
  14. I would say after 4 months your going to have to at best contribute to a repair , but that depends on the customers attitude really . Worst case is you pay to fix it or replace engine , but if you replace engine its better to replace chain anyway , expensive choice but you are in control . The other choice is to take the car back at a price that suits you both , fix it and resell with a new lease of life . Again your in control . Let some else fix it and your not in control , but if they stuff the repair it can get nasty all ways round . Either way round I can see you stumping cash up , just got to choose the least expensive way and sell it to her . Moral is , don't ever sell a 2.0 litre BMW again . New VW , Skoda SEAT , Audi TSI chain engines are the same "1.4 , 2.0 litre units ", Hopeless things , plus manifolds at horrendous costs too .
  15. Rubbish platform is Motors . Listen to same old tripe about how views they have every time some new sales person pops in . I go STOP right there , Have you got any evidence of how many actual sales you produce . mmmmmm Cant answer that , Bye
  16. Getting to be a lot of BULL on this thread now . Wonder how much the Brown one is , my freezer is quite empty at present Bit of Angus Beef Is very tasty That's not called MILKING Tom
  17. I'll pass on them Mr Trader look to cheap . The Kia is £2,495 minimum , looking at Autotrader its £2,695 average price . Cheap will not sell cars any quicker on most occasions . It can bring out the customers that cant really afford it , but it appears cheap so will stretch , BUT when it wants a new Bulb they will haunt you because they cant afford ANYTHING for it . Beware of CHEAP customers
  18. Ive got a good one on this subject , write later when more time
  19. If you have the number in your name its the same , mine is like that , can take a while to show on register . Got the FRN number your good to go , happy days , Just need a finance company now to suit your product and get some sales and commission payments in .
  20. If they have sent you an FRN number that's the deal done . Normally ring you if they need information in addition to what you sent . Cant see that being a worry , we never sent one in . Watch out for the sneaky calls just before they do send a number , we had a call can you quote me what i could get for £300 a month , I kept saying I cant and the caller just kept the pressure on asking about finance and not the car which I found weird . Literally 30 mins later after that call we had the number via email .
  21. Nowt wrong with VW as long as you where the spanners are kept Audi , Skoda and SEAT too Now wheres the tool box ?
  22. Looks like you need to prep up on your cleaning skills to me . Presentation presentation presentation . Hoover it , polish it , clean under bonnet , take it somewhere else to picture it , get the whole car in the shot as its the bloody car your selling . Chose a nice day and time , Tyre slick it . People buy with EYES first , nothing wrong with your cars so blame yourself first , not the cars or the tools . If others are selling and your not , then its you that has it wrong , not the cars . Remember people sell to people BUT only if you can get them to visit you , if they don't come its you that has something wrong , not the cars as they sold before you had them . Sorry to be point blank , but that's just me Near me there is a car that a trader bought 3 yrs ago , We have sold 27 of the same model in that time , he still has his ,even now swearing blind they are useless sellers , its his prep , simples . EYES , its a simple lesson so think it through and be your best critic on every part of what you are trying to do .
  23. Looks like your selling a field and caught the car in the picture .
