  1. Found it very similar to tardis but more expensive
  2. I find if you keep putting in a request sometimes a cheap deal pops up for example bought one out of manhiem yesterday and the best deal was £112 + vat this morning it was £89 + and we just did a request and BCA popped up at £56 + vat result booked happy days.
  3. And to be honest there are loads of little tips similar to what XFS kindly offered that wont be shared on a public forum, cost me a lot of money time and effort to learn what i know. Its a tough old world sometimes.
  4. yes all the boxes are ticked and documented.
  5. Smoking around in a sq7 vorsprung edition pool car of course.
  6. If you thinking your can pull a £1000 from a bread and butter car best think again that market is hard and very price driven i speak from day to day experience, if i was you i would forget bread and butter stock pitches have this sown up you have to think outside the box, maybe search Mrv posts he started off looking at bread and butter and has changed his thinking. I buy bread and butter most days bought two foxes and a VW up today on line, I can charge more than you so logically i can pay more than you this is a fight you will never win. Major re-think on the cards mate or your going to be in the same place next year and the year after, plenty of good examples on here spend an hour or two reading back and having a nose at what others are doing and doing well. chin up.
  7. Can i pick up on a comment you made " i am pretty happy with the case," some would say we are quite lucky in the advise open to me, a HMRC officer a solicitor a doctor and some right random odd balls i wont bother mentioning. I recall a situation where we took a cement supplier to court and i said to my brief i am happy with the case and she snarled trust me happy would have been settling this before we put it in the hands of the system i now lose a big element of control. Those words have stuck with me to this day, and she was right we lost.
  8. I dedicated more hours running a small pitch than building 9 houses last year, part time is almost no time your either all in or all out.
  9. Gumi phledge on foot rubbers cleans and softens all in one.
  10. So you don’t know the name of it either.... group old age memory loss.
  11. Have you tried the pink interior cleaner they have its like a cross between g101 and finish but with a nicer smell for the life of me cant remember the name bright pink in color, thats out fav at the moment cracking product.
  12. I dont like the look of silicon on dash boards looks all flash and trashy, lots of better options imo autosmart do finish very clean and natural look, dash dandy in cans are pennies and give a little shine but nothing to blind you. Agree ECP do five / ten ltrs of brake cleaner which isnt expensive last us for ages, they had a wd40 buy one get one free on 5ltrs not so long go we bought 2x5ltr and had two free.
  13. This seems to happen a lot to us of late, we stand by the first deal and offer to find the customer a similar car at a better deal not to lose them, i have been cheeky once or twice and let them test drive the sold car once they see the prep and how well they drive, if they do go elsewhere they often come back. Living in a small town it would only take one tip up telling a customer the engine is not right only to see the same car driving past them ten mins later wouldnt go down well.
  14. didnt nextgear buy it recently and there merging it with something my memory fails me on the full details but was along those lines.
  15. Have you tried small first maybe a few from the house get the feel for it.
  16. She is wearing a short skirt bending over a car having her photo posted on every website in the world, lets not pretend its anything else.
  17. I disagree if you put yourself in the public eye then you have to take the good with the bad. Jist because someone’s views are negative doesn’t make them any less of a view.
  18. Back in our car audio days we used to do the same thing to Halfords on there black friday sales, with a club card and the discount we could buy amplifiers and speakers 30% cheaper than we could buying direct, i was away one year and left it to my staff to sniff out the deals we got caught the phone call came, aw gutted how did we get caught i asked duno my guy replied they just didnt want to except my £7500 order !!!! You dick head i replied i used to spread £1500 over 5 local stores so they wouldnt catch on.
  19. I think that is way to random for anyone to pin point, i had a clio do that once and turned out to be a snapped spring on the lifters, why it kept moving we put it down to being french.
  20. I only use the free package and had 6 emails which resulted in two sales last month this month nothing yet and jan 7 emails 2 sales. As its free....why not
  21. "incorrectly registered vehicle" tax has nothing to do with how the car is registered do you have a copy of the ticket they give you to share, or how it is worded, if the fine has been handed out by the police the DVLA will not be able to do anything about it so i wouldnt even waste my time there.
  22. She looks as old and tired as the car itself.
  23. common sense isnt common would be the answer, but to be fair i often ask what seems like a stupid question just wondering what everyone else does.
  24. There is no one size fit all, advertising works for some and for others it doesnt, there are lots and lots of factors why it this works for some and not for others, some of the factors are your stock profile price points how you set your business up who you want to deal with, your local area population, professional industrial estate students the list it very extensive. Advertising used to be sling them in the evening post and away you go, these days it is a trade of its own how to market yourself and be good at it.
  25. When we book a warranty job in part of the tick sheet is now do you have an insurance device fitted, we got caught out driving a customers car at 45 in a 30 zone and they had a letter shortly after advising them they would be cancelling there policy if it happens again. Customers father was ok about we just wrote on to the company explained it was in our custody ect all sorted but very easy mistake to make.
