very large dealer near me only got big because they screwed everything and everyone, thing is they sell a marque that people like so they are still there and the owner lives in the biggest house up the hill wish it was me
-
youve done your best, let the buyer guide you of course a local independent windscreen fitter might fit a good s/h mint screen for you? i have 2 numbers to ring if need be
-
your site looks more suitable for £2995 and less to be honest.too many cheap banners ,pictures taken with a compound in the background that looks like a scrap yard you are selling image cars rather than cars to get you to work so image is everything or lifestyle if you prefer or hankering after that lifestyle seeing as you want to push the finance get rid of those tacky autosmart mats they are good in worn out shitters at £695 0no only sort the issue with leanders now because it would stop me dead from going further into your website can you not work from a better site? im sure you dont need main road frontage?
-
if you do a dvla mot check of those cars that have been seized you quite often find no mot for years or worse lots of serviceable item failures me? i stopped buying seized cars years ago after i bought an astra estate and found it had plants growing out of the carpets,ok serves me right for sticking my hand up but it cured me if they get it seized they know its was going to go sooner or later so will rag em and not spend a penny, often they have lots of petrol cans in the boot and maccy dee wrappers under the seats walk on..............

i always think, would i buy it as a punter? no,so i move on to the next car

I entirely agree with your post Steve92 apart from the last line, im undercut from all sides by people selling cheaper cheaper cheaper and putting 2 fingers up to how business should be run,i have an eastern european guy over the road from me using multiple accounts on ebay selling cars and not putting a penny into the system in vat national insurance or even employing local people hes brought them in from poland,i voted out and im proud to say it

out because im old enough to have a real reason these people who really think their houses are going to devalue by 20% need to start reading real newspapers for those that dont understand where the eu is going i suggest they dont vote at all hows that
-
Theres a bum for every seat, its just a matter of waiting for the bum. I dont like high mileage mind, never did because when i started out you got a badge if your car did 100,000
-
easiest way of getting out of a test drive if they turn up is insist you need to see their driving licence, very few p0eople carry this so it often sorts the dreamers out who would need to speak to the wife anyway
-
someones just been here offering me a car she wants to sell and i kept her here for 30 minutes because its better than talking to the walls, didnt want the car though

onwards and upwards all the best -
i like the polish, they say,'you take this price' theres no negotiation its either take their money or no sale,i often take their money because its obvious they've done their homework and know they are only people interested in the car,sad really i used to do this when i started out a million years ago in barny hubbles car
-
getting this loads lately and never see them again, and i wont buy gold cars anymore seeing as they always turn out to be landmarks
-
you can only keep reasonable costs so the best way is to keep the deposit as low as you can and then not refund citing costs such as readvertising etc, this is what ive always done but if customer had indeed lost his job then i would be pretty bendy
-
I stopped buying the local paper when i realised that i knew quite a few of the people mentioned in the obituaries on a weekly basis and lets be honest here anyone under 50 wont be buying these papers so what percentage of your market are you cutting off in your advertising budget? suppose it depends where you live of course.
-
i dont mind anyone looking but i do object when they bring their brats who run round with no control ,they all want to go for a test drive in the rain thus filthying the car both inside and out then go off into the sunset in their vectra even though they quite clearly did say if they were happy how my car drove they were purchasing

the old addage always applies is if it smells at pos then dont take their money i only use classifieds im a real believer in this even if short term im cutting my nose theres always a sensible trader somewhere ready to take a risk or just scrap the things is often an easier answer if they really are worth zilch

when he comes back on saturday morning at peak time 11.30 am wait till hes parked his car up and comes strolling in and quickly put the sold header card in the car dont forget to film him too as his pants fall down do we really need these people

Brilliant oh and this paragraph says it all in my opinion I have years of experience at the coal face of the motor trade and don’t need some graduate who has never sold a car in their life patronising me and telling me how to run my business. All I want from you is for you to treat me with the respect I deserve and help me sell more cars. I’m not an overly demanding partner. but then its never going to go back to how it was,i still think of yellow pages and just hope the same happens to them in digital heaven
