Depends on what needs doing to it?

They are obviously not keen on returning to the old pre internet days when hardly anyone turned up to daytime sales apart from a few salty old traders?
-
Yes he's probably fucked around under the bonnet and knocked something off

Makes or Models you absolutely avoid buying for stock

I used to run an old Japanese 4x4 as a daily driver. It was unstoppable and racked up huge mileage. I think you'll find that guys that drive those old things would pay £2k tax a year and still not worry. My opinion of course (and what is the internet without opinions) -
Hubby wants it - Wifey doesn't want it....
metcars replied to Arfur Dealy's topic in General Dealer Chat
I've mentioned before about a sale many years ago where the wife didn't want the car. They had a monumental bust up, fighting, the lot. But, if he shows up on his own, flog it to him. If she turns up run? -
LR are the definition of the expression "emperors new clothes". A triumph of form over function

I reckon if you parked a soft top BMW/Mercedes/Audi in a Lidl car park with a for sale sign it would be gone in an hour!
-
...... or is it. Open top cars used to mean a small two seater sports car, probably getting on a bit and leaking oil. But now it means something German and with four seats usually driven by a middle aged couple. But, can you really look cool driving a four seater open car without looking like Hitler on a 'parade'?

I was the same until my last v5. Nine days and waiting?

DVLA are 'doing a benji'

Well, it's funny you should mention this but I had a Romanian chap down my road that used to decorate his car like that. I think he must have had a Halfords gift voucher every week instead of wages?

What is your anticipated 'footfall' in the 3rd quarter?

....... but send it off to BBA reman and they'll still happily charge you £195+VAT!

Ha, that's me!

Classic car mot exemption after 40 yrs...
metcars replied to Linctrader's topic in General Dealer Chat
Bearing in mind the number of MPs that own classic cars I wouldn't hold my breath? Come to think of it, where Brexit is concerned, I wouldn't hold my breath either? -
Hi, how about m093749? thanks
-
One of these old things That's what I was hoping for, any you could recommend?
-
It's an old mk2 2006. I'll give it a try, but should there be a charge? I hope to tug it out tomorrow if I get the chance
-
I've got a Focus today no code and the head unit has got to come out. Is it worth trying one of those Ebay places or shall I just go to Ford? Thanks
-
You're my hero BHM, but have you heard of 'Occam's razor'?
-
If he owns a nursing home he definately will be 'crawling in it'?
-
In fairness there are many people that claim DLA and are not scumbags. I can't imagine falling out with BHM, he's one of the stars of this forum! Plus, I had to stick a few guys in my 'ignore' list after the big IMDA 'debate'
-
DLA is not means tested, it's an 'allowance' not a 'benefit'? Motability scheme would require you to swap your higher rate mobility component for 'a car'. There are many people who need/use their cars to go to work, they don't necessarily live on council estates?

How many chances do you give for viewing?
metcars replied to tradegirl's topic in General Dealer Chat
You can't 'force' them to come. Don't get yourself too stressed about times, slowly slowly catchy monkey. As has already been mentioned, if you keep banging on about times you'll come across as a desperate seller. Just my tuppence worth
