its a lot of brass, pay for an independent inspection if not going the finance route

they turn up to you unless you stop them and buy one this is why i now buy off ebay ,the quality is the same i know the price rather than the local guy deciding on the moment and i only order what i want rather than impulse purchases i never use

for the record dvla took my trade plate monies out of my account on the 16th of february what kind of business waits 5 weeks before cashing a cheque
-
tell him to do one then its a franchise my old franchise holder went to extreme lengths to show me how good the products were the guy who bought him out is a lazy guy who depends on the local town to me big boys to pay his wages i always buy off reps who are committed, i hate shoddy lazy tick box guys
-
As far as im aware you never could put plates behind the glass i got my renewal or was it receipt from dvla saying the above ie not to cover existing plates but having read where traders have been done on sorn rules via original plate i have for the past 2 years totally covered the original plates on the car and in some cases removed front plate to accommodate my front trade plate ive never been pulled in 30 years with plates but then i always try to abide on the rear i still use a rubber mount and half cover existing number plate i take more faith in what the police do rather than what dvla say about this so my way stays on another point ive only had a dvla staff member visit my premises once to check my number plate logging paperwork but all my local factors bar andrew pages still make plates without the dvla licence, this really annoys me

as much as i love sir g i have to say i used it once in the valeting machine by accident in the closed combines of the car interior and was violently poorly like a severe flu, ive never done that again ive gone back to tfr for outside cleaning due to cost,i just keep a 50/50 mix in a pressurised container for green minge under badges and manky tyres my autosmart rep only comes these days when his big boys let him down so i normally just buy off the ebay now because frankly its usually cheaper and i dont buy lots of satin blacks etc with very dear prices from his van

i dont like the idea of advertising to the unwashed that the cars not fit for purpose by way of not being checked over the only way round this is to sell as no mot, repairs only, must be trailered away and get a proper receipt set up that buyer signs with all these conditions on even then you might end up with an lba

are you serious/ i had this for years i thought i had a stalker with a grudge

my advice is ring dvla ask if its in trade,do not depend on the web page its often wrong if its in trade consider as suggested putting v5c in new customers name and taxing in local post office if its not in trade get your £25 off to them soonest because it might still take up to 6 weeks before dvla will release v5c as they need to write to previous owner and get a reply and put you to the back of the queue,my drawer socks full of teashirts dont you know

if you have legal protection on your motor trades insurance then ring them for advice, car sounds like a vauxhal -
i had a real bad grudge that came up on the first hit on google, this woman lost her case in court but still posted the review whilst high on wine i believe,i had to threaten the host who was based in poland that as he was in the eu and the post was defamatory and libellous i was getting my lawyers to start proceedings against him,i showed him the dismissed by the judge letter and thankfully it was removed within days, bearing in mind this case took nigh 8 months to get to court so i have no idea how much it affected my business,im still not happy at her but my only choice was high court but i cant afford that,i even considered crowd funding but its not allowed anymore either because of some quango govt dept as for autotrader threaten to close your account and do it if you have to,you pay their smelly little wages. As an aside, reviews, its getting very concerning, especially in the feedback i am now getting from customers that they have read the reviews on one of my cars (in the section where people randomly post their experiences) before turning up, now, it only needs a few bad reviews from some keyboard idiot to kill a car sale....[. ie i was going to buy a peugeot 207 but i read a review where the wheels fell off one somewhere sometime someplace as some guy posted it from his bedroom with his undercrackers round his head and he was on the 4th bottle of white something,i lost the sale by the way because my customer whom ive known for 30 years decided to walk away from the sale because of one review on one car i could go on but i think my buildings blowing down so im off
