  1. Quiet day for us with just one phone call but we sold Civic Type R GT within last half hour so happy with that. still not had a blank day since Brexit!
  2. Would local VX main dealer be interested perhaps ? for their showroom not for retail!
  3. To be honest I think I'd prefer that to happen than to actually sell two different cars. It is SO SATISFYING. Especially when they ring up and say 'I'm the one who viewed the X earlier/yesterday' and you can just scream down the phone ITS SOOOOOLLLDDDDD
  4. Just took a deposit on new shape Merc c230 (manual) I had in yesterday - first deal using new FCA approval too.
  5. Strong end for me, not blanked since Brexit, been a good month here.
  6. another couple for me today.
  7. 2 more this morning - Micra and C4 VTS. Buzzing along nicely.
  8. I've come back in to do an appointment on a VX Tigra I got in yesterday, this weekend is shaping up to be good here.
  9. sold one this morning that came back from yesterday, had two browsers one of which is still here, so not bad given whats going on. Got two or three appointments for the weekend already made as well so hopefully they all turn up!!
  10. Out for me, nothing to do with immigration but would just like to see us make decisions here in the UK by the people we have elected and not in Brussels by people we haven't.
  11. Cargoes use set fee per mile, used to be 65p. Always good and swift when moving South to North but not so quick the other way round. I prefer Movex as you can set your own price and it generally gets accepted, and the companies are vetted/rated etc.
  12. I did it all myself. It's not too hard once you get going.
  13. I got my approval on Thursday last week and it took 17 days from application submission which I thought was incredibly fast
  14. No, but I tell them it's not refundable when they place the deposit, if they are unsure I tell them I'd rather they go and have a think about it because if they put a deposit down we take it off sale etc.
  15. I always work on 7 days for standard deposit, anything over that I'd want at least 1k or even 50% of car value.
  16. had every man, his dog, his wife and her lover in yesterday, total waste of time and effort.
  17. Ticking along nice to be fair, done just over 1 day and got some nice stuff coming in as well as a few in the pipeline on my current stock. No slowdown noted here, at least yet, anyway. took in a couple of sky high mileage part chops but I reckon both will end up selling quickly. 2007 Pug 807 7 Seater 2.0 HDI climate heated seats dvd player 164k mot December 2004 Merc CLK 2.7 Diesel leather two tone leather sat nav and probably loads more, 216k Mot May 2017 owe me £2k combined so will see how we get on with them this weekend the Merc is pretty mint to be fair.
  18. Much rather stick that type of money towards Facebook! The beauty of FB is if you put a car on for say 7 days but it sells in one day, then you can just cancel it, your total outlay would be so minimal.
  19. I think it's because they go through periods of recommending certain dealers, we have had it happen as you describe on a couple of occasions pal. Only explanation I can think of.
  20. It's crazy why can't they see we are saving them time by being honest and up front with the pricing? Would he rather you lie and say you can give him those figures then tell him no when he turns up?
  21. Consumer rights do not apply to trade sales.
  22. Surely if you advertise it as a trade sale and he signs to confirm he is in the trade, then that is that? How much more can be expected of you? Is it really up to us to prove other people are in the trade or not? Haven't we got enough to do?
  23. 1 in 1. Love a first day of the month deal
  24. jesus I did 7 and I was buzzing with that. Well done mate.
