  1. 'Can you value my part exchange....W Reg Clio - I'm only second owner and it's only 62k miles on clock' sounds okay as old cars go... get in it - 88k on clock HPI it - 7 owners what is the point ??
  2. http://www.lawgistics.co.uk/read-news/865 By virtue of this Section, if a consumer complains of a fault with the vehicle in the first 30 days, they will be entitled to bring it back to you for a refund. They can ask for a repair but they are not obliged to accept a repair and can simply insist on a refund which you will be legally obliged to give. The slight saving grace for dealers is that it is down to the consumer to show there is a fault and that it was present at the time of delivery. We therefore strongly recommend that dealers take the time before 1 October 2015 to review their Pre Delivery processes to ensure they do all they can to put themselves in a position to argue that any fault was not present at the time of delivery. Putting a new independent MOT on a car can never be a bad idea nor can using one of our Pre-Delivery Inspection pads.
  3. First and foremost he HAS to prove the fault was present at the time of sale. If he cannot do this, or you can disprove this, then no money back.
  4. All respectable delivery companies take a delivery form and get it signed both ends, usually states exactly what was present down to V5, # of keys, sat nav discs, service books and stuff and also a condition diagram including scuffs and scrapes. If this was done and signed both ends there would be no leg to stand on (for the dealer) surely?
  5. Formally reject the car as it was falsely advertised? As a customer would to us in the same circumstance?
  6. When customers start your car and rev the absolute b*ll*cks from cold, does my nut in, what are they trying to achieve? Oh and then they walk off?
  7. I thought maintaining a stockbook was a legal requirement
  8. Put on your invoice customer aware of broken key fobs and customer accept this etc. Then you're covered
  9. Tbf ive dealt with dealers that seem to think the same!
  10. had this happen twice this week Mazda 3 Sport and a Renault Grand Scenic both low mileage for year listed with no history, one owner and two owners. Took the risk buying online, both turn up with 7 stamps and 8 stamps and a host of receipts. Reckon it saved me £500-£600 if they had been advertised correctly. Superb result.
  11. £1800+vat on a 4 week. £2250+vat on a 5 week
  12. Fusion sold this afternoon and took an 11 plate Peugeot Partner Teepee with 40k on the clock in p/ex. And got a deal pending on a Scenic, quite hopeful. Bought some decent stock too this week. On 15 for the month.
  13. Whenever I post I will have 30-35 in stock, basically I always have that number. But agreed that does give it some more relevance.
  14. Had a few in p/ex and used to buy them when I could find them with sensible miles (sun 80k) cheap entry level 4x4s that always sell well, always kind to me. Keep to a sensible margin and you'll be fine!
  15. The 1.6 TDCi has always been a disaster for me. Turbos, DPF issues. The 1.8 TDCI and 2.0 TDCi in C-max or Mondeo has been almost totally problem free for me - except for the odd DMF.
  16. local guy this morning. took 20 mins to buy, car is MINT.

'Will you drop it to £4,000' 'No' 'Okay ill keep looking for 2 weeks if I haven't found anything better I'll bite the bullet and view yours' 'Okay' Now Sold
