  1. Same you've done nothing wrong other than suggest it was a trade sale (as it's not). I had a Yaris with same thing, battery was low after being in body shop for bumper repair and start/stop function switched itself off for couple of days until battery was recharged.
  2. In your opinion what constitutes a trade sale? Was the buyer in the motor trade?
  3. 4 in 4 days at the minute so getting there.
  4. Two this weekend Not amazing but certainly better. Decent part exchanges on both though which I should be able to get turned over quickly.
  5. Very very quiet start to March here.
  6. I'm just going to keep putting them in the window, 7 years driven all over the country with no issue.
  7. slow start for me, still low on stock though, 7-8 short probably.
  8. I had someone do similar on eBay last week. Not on this scale though. A Mercedes ML that normally retails at £25k was on for £9k. Got 3-4 calls on it and eventually tracked the eBay ad down, contact them within minutes it was gone. As you say the scary bit was if someone had paid the deposit and then turned up to collect in a few days, could be an interesting conversation. They had my business address as the location etc.
  9. Two today, came in for one appointment at 1pm on a Fiesta and another set of customers rang and asked if they could pop down at the same time. Ended up selling both, so extremely pleased.
  10. I'd say diesels are 2/3 more likely to be back under warranty and when they do they almost always cost more to fix with odd issues people seem to think diesels go to 200k with no problems. They will go to 200k but it will cost an arm and a leg to get there in most cases ??
  11. Same her on 19 for the month though, very steady so far. Here*
  12. Took a ford ranger in P/ex put it up at £3,500 last night, the phone went NUTS sold this morning first customer could easily sell it 15 times, who knew?! not me.
  13. We had a great start but has slowed a little this week. I sold 8 in 24 hours last week though which was great. Think we're sat on 15 which is fine for us. Finding it hard to replace stuff though
  14. Even if you replied and 'accepted' I doubt you'd see them
  15. I'll second Cluster Repair UK Just fixed a stereo with pixellation failure of BMW 2007 318. Most places wouldn't even attempt it, they did it half the price some of them wanted with 24 month warranty. Wasn't the fastest though as they had shut down for 2 weeks start of Jan/end of December.
  16. I had a couple of Vauxhalls in for an average of 6 months at the back end of last year. 2011 Insignia 1.8 Petrol, 27k, FULL VX HISTORY, Lovely car in dark blue. Took 8 months to sell, dropped from £6290 to £5890 to £5500 to £5290. Put it back up to £5800 and it sold within 6 days. Still made a slight profit on the books but guess taking into account storage and advertising its a loss. 2010 Astra 2,0 CDTi SRi 157 BHP 56k. Heated seats. FULL HISTORY 5 stamps at VX, On the face of it a desirable car I thought. Took 5 months or so to shift, had interest at first then died a death. Guy comes says its easy best one he's seen and buys it with no test drive. No rhyme or reason sometimes so my message is don't panic. Both those cars sold within 3 days of each other after being in stock the time listed. Both customers were delighted with their cars (literally).
  17. Finished on 27 which I was happy with especially since we didn't open till the 3rd of January. Much better than December.
  18. For sure thats £4K all day long at the mileage! I'd say I shift a Mazda 5 on average 3x as quick as any Zafira
  19. Struggling to buy much but I have got 2 Mazda 5s probably £300-£400 below what I'd expect to pay. Sold one and just got the other this morning, weird cos they usually do way 'over' even in normal times. first one was mint too, Both Sport spec.
