Should be around £35 to fix for a half competent interior repair guy.

Had this twice, both times ABS pump. IIRC it's less than £200 at ecu testing -
I'll message you.

We found a nationwide delivery company that operates out of our city (Derby). They are 95% driven delivered and the vast majority of their drivers also live here too therefore most days they want to drive cars back to here, which means we get our cars quickly and at a fair price. So my advice is find a company similar local to yourself and strike up a deal.

phone won't stop ringing on that, I'd whack it on at £600 and describe the issue in the advert.

We're ticking over, on track for 1 a day which continued today, we're not super busy all the time but we have had a few days where we have done well i.e. 3 last Saturday and 4 the Sunday before which really eases any pressure.

It's not major money I know but it pays the eBay motors account for 3 months.
-
both sold this morning had a call on one at 1.30am last night, good job I was out and about.
-
That's the thing, they do go quick you just have to put up with the idiots on the phone. Last couple I've sold to Asian traders that have paid me without evening viewing and just collected within 1-2 days and no hassle at all.
-
We've got two £400ers going on over night and I am already stressed about the barrage of calls tomorrow.
-
We had one the other Sunday booked appointment, seemed super serious asked all right question and travelled an hour. after test drive said have 5 more to look at and thanked us for our time and then two days later left a lovely review saying best place they'd been! not sure what to say really...

What's The Biggest Profit You Have Made on a Car?
SC Derby replied to XFS's topic in General Dealer Chat
Took a chance on a Kia Ceed 30k from Dealer Auction about 4 years ago...FSH but had 4 owners in 4 years. Bought it /priced it as a 1.6 petrol, turned up and it had been listed wrong and was diesel. Made a lot on that car and took a good p/ex too if I remember correctly, -
Peugeot 207 1.4 petrol depollution system faulty

We;'e all been there Andy, I've got a couple at the minute but sometime it seems there is no light at the end of the tunnel without losing a fortune. It's probably the most stressful part of the job I'd say. -
I'll happily contribute. Got experience on both sides of the fence so to speak.
-
They offered it to me last year, I didn't want to sign up for a year and didn't think it represented great value personally so left it. Not AA's fault but I think you or anyone would be better chucking £250 at Facebook or social media.

What a result !

I got one from Auction4cars once, it had 20k more on it, 62,000 not 42,000. Was delivered to me from Newport. The car was nice and they were happy to adjust as Mojo said above. Seemed fair all round.

thats some going Rory, really bucking the trend. I'm chuffed with 6 and two more appointments in the book...

We've scraped our way to 4 so far but it's slim pickings. Also finding it hard to buy anything. Had to turn down a couple of part exs as well due to crunching gearboxes, good job I drove them.

No not at all - the customer has to PROVE it was there at the time you supplied them the car. It they can and you indeed did supply them a car with a major fault then yes they can reject We must have been over this 50 times

Took one of them in pex once 4x4 version - phone went off the hook. I used to sell them consistently but they slowed down for me so haven't bothered for a year or so. Same with quite a few smaller cars that used to be 'popular'.
