  1. In future don't advertise the car with A/C and keep a copy of the advert and then you are covered.
  2. For me it’s smaller engine / high mileage syndrome especially in an estate
  3. It tells you the date advertised in the URL
  4. Not much you can do imo. Had one last week bought an ex car painter friend he told his friend it had had a smart repair at some point so could have been in smash result - customer left to have a think and lost a genuine low mileage car.
  5. Yeah civics can carry a few stone chips but most switched on civic buyers expert it (we’ve found)
  6. What year? I normally stick to petrols
  7. 2 yesterday 2 today so hopefully we are following the trend we saw last year and we will all have a busy end to the month.
  8. Is there a middle ground? Those doors are quite bad but a lot of that may polish touch in, and then go somewhere in the middle price wise? Yes
  9. I really don’t know as it’s a bit higher mileage than I’d entertain. But new clutch is big selling point surlely?
  10. Sorry and obviously I meant Sovereigns At least yours will look cheap (I hope!)
  11. Doenst matter what you put on the receipt / invoice you cannot legally get a consumer to sign away their rights and I think trying to is an offence. So definitely be careful here.
  12. Seen a clear dip last 7-10 days but checked back to last April and we are 2 ahead and that month finished really strongly so not panicking .
  13. Right mileage and spec we’ve always done okay. Had a few soversigns in and out in day or so. but only sub 70k
  14. Who the hell would replace a 6mm tyre? Does he buy a pint of milk, drink a 1/4 then chuck the rest?
  15. Get a virtual landline to your mobile looks professional and you can answer wherever you are
  16. Loads of owners? Yes it’s a really popular car this one!
  17. I’ve never had a bad word to say about Close - not one drama throughou the years and still quick. We sent new deal through today at 4.20pm and customer was driving off before 5.
  18. I looked into it and they wanted personal guarantee, so I left it at that. Didn’t really need it anyway
  19. True, looking back it was a right scratch around, chucked in what I had (not a lot), borrowed that max the bank would let me have and a small loan from a family member (paid back within a year). But it was a challenge and high risk I guess.
  20. Banks are so funny dealing with motor trade especially when you are starting out, I just took out personal loans to help get going.
  21. 7-8 years ago when we started we used to swipe in 10k from credit cards and use it for stock. Worked well at the time.
  22. Test drive yesterday...loved it but forgot his wallet so couldn't leave a deposit. Heard that before. Gave him bank details and said transfer it in when you get home. Low and behold 65 minutes later the money was in, couldn't believe it.
  23. Absolutely no idea where it's come from but we've sold 6 today, 10 since Friday.
  24. It was harder at first but now we've got enough money to fill the unit at all times so it doesn't really matter if I have 3-4 waiting to come in or in prep, we can still fill the gaps. But it wasn't always like that.
