  1. It's less than two hours work if you do it yourself.
  2. Fair enough. We've seem dip at similar time. Luckily we were flying until last week of June so no undue damage and it seems to be picking up again in last couple of days. seen* similar dip sorry
  3. Grant, is there just two cars for sale on your website?
  4. I'd normally say outside photos but tbh there I'd say your inside one is a lot better, the car looks better down its sides as well.
  5. I successfully cleared one after running the car for about 4 hours, but another needed both batteries. Struggling to sell them if the warning lights are on, just puts customers off I've found.
  6. crazy though isn't it I've not had one professional driver deliver a vehicle in over 7 years of using them multiple times per week, that doesn't display them in the windows of vehicles and these guys are wracking up the miles of around 1,000 a week in some cases.
  7. I’ve sold 3 with online auction pics last month not proud of it but it continues to work
  8. Never made any difference for me, sold loads of both.
  9. Mini - oil leaks, chains, gearbox, engine lights any diesel Vauxhall’s or petrol ones after 2010 (gearbox bearing after gearbox bearing) 207 petrol unless sub 25- head gasket and noisy gearbox Peugeot 308 petrol - possibly worst car in the world
  10. It’s often difficult as someone walks away blaming something minor and you can beat yourself up but honestly were they ever really going to buy? Or would they just have found something even more trivial as an excuse to ‘have a think’? we had a Kia Soul in white last month that had two small chips on the plastic pillar that runs up the drivers side of the windscreen. Gentleman comes with wife and says I couldn’t possibly cope going forward with that etc it’s been hit or whatever. in all honesty utter rubbish. It didn’t even really warrant a touch in but that’s what I would of done if pressed, 4 days later normal guy comes from Huddersfield, best one he’s seen by far, paid and gone in 30 minutes.
  11. Last 3 Close declines have all been auto accept at First Response, so can't moan about them at all.
  12. I stick to 1.6hdi 207s now Problem free so far.....
  13. part ex retailed out this morning sadly no 2001 180k V70 in chop though
  14. Dead today also but on track for a very healthy month
  15. Last one I used was radio codes . net I think, there are loads on Google and they give you a price before you order https://www.radio-code.co.uk/
  16. Loads of sites that do it less than a lady Godiva
  17. We’ve been keeping a spreadsheet since January so will update exactly but most are within 30miles and then the odd long distance
  18. 500s next on my banned list tight margins noisy suspensions sit for yonks
  19. I’d not advertise car with parking sensors and also make them aware and put it on invoice when they view/purchase had to do it this week on a 2007 Picasso, the money isn’t there to start fixing them but we wouldn’t try and hide it, it is what it is. May be harder if it’s prestige stuff though
  20. and carpet (i.e. proper carpet you'd have in your dining room) overlaying the boot carpet
  21. yep - can't ask for much more than that, and certainly hard to get V70 D5s at any age for right money, especially with FSH, 1 previous owner and belt done.
  22. We only have a landline now (virtual one straight through to mobile so can answer anywhere). But I do get some requests to text to update on progress of car (say if there are jobs to do) especially from busy people. I don't mind this and find it a decent way to communicate, same if a car is back in for a warranty job. They can then text you back at their leisure and you don't keep missing each others calls.
  23. I've got a standard reply I send back to all Cargurus enquiries basically with our full details asking them to get in touch if they wish to view the car. Like Rory I don't think they are fake, they just come through on a standard template as thats how CG lays out its enquiry form and yes there are some bizarre names. I reckon we sell one a month, maybe two in a good month through them, so I don't see any point in not replying to the enquiries, yes 95% go nowhere but it takes less than 10 minutes a month to respond to the lot.
  24. Lovely start to the week 2009 V70 with 65k sold and taken their old 2004 V70 2.5 d5 se in pex, 116k on it beautiful
