34, now reduced to 28 (not counting bargains). At the end of the day if it goes tits up I can just ring them up and up my stock. Sometimes I will have 5-6 spaces either with due in cars or with cars I've sold and not replaced so it may not affect me that much. Plus I have done loads and I mean loads of eBay the last few months. My sale this morning, £5.5k car - eBay. On a secondary note, anyone any experience of Mazda cx-7s with the 2.3T petrol engine? I had one in this morning which I have sold within an hour but it is smoking heavily, all internet investigations point to turbo which seem very common on these, is this the likely cause? Extremely understanding customer given me 10 days to sort it, so want it done and dusted in that time.

It's just too much, can't justify that, fair enough it's for their '5 week month' but it just needs to stop somewhere, starting now.

When it comes to Facebook sponsored posts, whats to stop you doing one sponsored post of say £20 for your 5 cars that are due in (other than you may not have great pictures), that way you are creating nice early interest and are advertising 5 cars for the price of one?

I'm going to gradually start reducing my autotrader package, and try rotating my stock weekly on it to begin with, possibly having 25 cars on say and 10 not on AT, and then on every Friday remove ten and re advertise the other ten. TBH I have a feeling this will work, firstly it's quite common to receive strong interest when you first advertise a car. Secondly when you remove a vehicle you often get an enquiry along the lines of 'where has you vauxhall x gone?'. Also gonna consider this new Motors offer, they have a pull out after 3 months and if I sold no cars in that 3 month period I would only have spent £585, so hardly a bank breaking amount! Worth a try anyway, AT bill this morning £2952 incl vat.

First off change the last serviced date (personally I'd delete that and just leave last services at 55k) as this gives away the car has been sat there for 6 months.

Not sure why but when the sales slow down the warranty issues seem to mount up. Sob. Not been a good end to the month at all. In fact judged solely on sales my worst month out of the last 9.

Slow down here now too. Not sure if the weekend will be a wash-out but feels like it at the moment.

I had the weekend off (Stag Do) which is first one for about 9 months and they sold 5 cars without me. Might have to start taking more time off lol. On 19 for the month. Recovered.

I'm on 13 for the month, but have done 5 in last 2 days which has recovered it somewhat. Amazing how it can just die for 3-4 days but then I've sold 3 in 90 minutes this morning!!

Sytner Auction does as you ask, I have suggested to Dealer Auction how amazing it would be if they could implement this and they said they like us to communicate with the sellers once a car is won so would be leaving it as it is!

Quiet month so far. Although enquiries picked up last couple of days so hopefully we can recover!

24 for me, so considerably down on Jan. Was flying but last 8 days died a death. Still steady enough, keep cracking 20 and I won't complain.

Sold to a walk on this morning - we have a very busy garage / MOT station next door and regularly get people coming round while they wait and that's what happened today. purchases a £1000 206 I had in p/ex. much prefer the people that ring and book on a specific car though!!

quite a bit slower than last month, and a few painful warranty claims too. On 14 but a couple of those are only cheapo part exs. done 4 in last two days though for a mini recovery!!

Two today - Mazda 6 1.8 TS and VW Golf 1.4 S. Got my Civic Type-S out on test drive as I type so could improve further, only got it in Friday am but I didn't get chance to do the buffs and touch ins which is always annoying.

Scraped through to 5 so far, not been busy though, think I've sold my better stock as well so may need a mid month re think.

Been pretty slow but managed to pull in one a day so far somehow but doesn't feel the same as January did early on!!

Whats the plan then? Good luck in getting it all sorted out.
