  1. Anyone else having issues with the BCA Live online video feed? When I log on, i can see the information, can see the bidding, but not getting the video feed, so can't here or see what's going..... My internet connection appears to be ok, I'll contact the LOL team, but no doubt they'll blame my end.... Just wondered if anyone else was experiencing similar issues?
  2. Thanks for the replies, and thanks Andy for taking the time to chat earlier! I've now challenged the review, so it's down to the 3rd party who manage it. We'll see... Thankfully a genuine customer who collected a car today, left me a glowing 5 star review, and I didn't have to pay her!!
  3. Hi Andy, thank you, have messaged you. Cheers
  4. Yeah you're absolutely right, I'm glad he didn't buy the car. I'm just angry how someone like that can have such a strong bearing on my business / reputation. It's not constructive or honest, just spiteful. What concern's me most, is that I won't have an opportunity to explain the situation to people reading it. Once they're through the door and they meet me / see my cars, they will realise it was nonsense, but how many people is going to prevent picking up the phone / walking through the door..... As you say, it's all too easy for someone to leave a review, who haven't even purchased a car!!....
  5. The nut job I had on Sunday has left me a scathing 1 star review on Autotrader, is there anything I can do about this, or do I have to just suck it up?! Any advice greatly appreciated, many thanks
  6. Well it turns out it didn't last 24 hours, had someone threaten to "jab me one" because I had sold a car he'd come to look at earlier in the day..... On a more positive note, I've currently got a customer sitting in their car with a cup of tea, trying to sort out their insurance (only taken 45 mins so far!), if that comes off that will be 2 today. What an eventful day it's been for a Monday!!
  7. Is there a new wave of petrol buyers coming from diesel jags maybe? Still not sure why an X Type would make big money...
  8. Ha, very true!! I'll enjoy it for 24 hours!!
  9. Just done one more. Complete contrast from the numpty from yesterday!! Really nice chap, impressed with the car, no messing about, paid by bank transfer and taken it away. It's restored my faith in the human race!!
  10. Well, much to my amazement, they went away had some lunch, then came back and dealt. Obviously came to their senses over a cheese and pickle sandwich, that my offer of £150 for their death trap was a good offer!!
  11. Well my flakey appointment turned up, complete waste of time! Came to look at my CR-V on at £3790, turned up in an old, battered, sunburst pink Honda Jazz with a towbar! Rear bumper was literally hanging off, huge scrape on the rear quater, every panel keyed. She had £2800 plus her car......... Oh and she was given the car by her mother so it owed her zilch!!
  12. Nothing yet, but enquiries have picked up a bit. 1 flakey appointment for later, who failed to show up last Saturday, and one possibly tomorrow. Has been a quiet week though. It always seems to go dead during half term week, but I don't understand why, not everyone's got kids.....
  13. I'm with Barclays and have no complaints, might be appropriate given your company name....
  14. Thanks Phil, really appreciate that! Sent you a pm.
  15. Has anyone got a contact with Audi, to trace some service history? It's been serviced by Audi, I've spoken to the servicing dealer who were worse than useless!! Can anyone get hold of a service print out so I can see when the timing belt was done, please? TIA.
  16. Because if you use the BCA pictures, you can't ask £15k for a £5k car.
  17. Yep, it's amazing how much value you can add, by photographing the car on some shiny floor tiles and white washed walls as the back drop....
  18. Saw an 05 plate Honda Civic Typer R EP3 go through BCA Nottingham, Grade 3, 2 owners, 21k miles, good service history, but mot history left a little to be desired... Cap clean £2900, made £9000!!!!
  19. Sorry to hear that.
  20. I'm still finding it depressingly quiet, (I am low on stock with a few in mid preparation), but has it picked up for anyone else?? Did have one nut job email through autotrader part ex enquiry, wanted £2500 for his 52 plate Lexus IS200 with 80k miles......
  21. Haha! I could have worded that better....!! As it happens, I do have the, er, slit holes for the nuts!!
