  1. This is by far the worst November I've ever had!!! I usually find December and May my worst months. I find June can be a funny month as well.....
  2. You're starting to sound like a typical customer!!! Next you'll be moaning about the price!!
  3. I just ignore them. They have no intention of buying, and I genuinely believe these pathetic types, actually get a kick out of trying to wind up car dealers. If you reply, you're just feeding these needy, insecure, attention seeking cockwombles......
  4. Jesus Christ, I bet it's plastered with touch up paint!!!
  5. Shall we go round and brake his knee caps....?!
  6. I had one of these last year, 2005, 19k miles, Manual, 1 lady owner, Full Lexus Main Dealer History, it was like a new car!!! Needless to say it drove like it was running on butter milk....
  7. I've considered carpet. How did you find it with getting wet? Quite often I bring cars inside the unit after they've been rained on, or just valeted. How does the carpet hold up to that, does it not end up all stained and mouldy? I like the idea of carpet, just not sure if it's practical?
  8. Ha. Funny this thread should come up, because like you, i'm fed up my grubby looking floor. Be interested to know what you go for?! I've considered all sorts, garage tiles, laminate flooring and even carpet!!.....
  9. I use a vacuum cleaner!! It's amazing how warm you get when you hoover a car!! Stops me from sitting on my arse, spending all day on here.....
  10. Looks great! Can I be cheeky and ask how much / how big an area? PM if you prefer.
  11. My thoughts exactly.....! No point being a busy fool!!
  12. The buyer was Naive, foolish and made the wrong assumptions, exactly what the seller was hoping for..... IMO.
  13. I once had a message through ebay on an Audi TT I was selling. He said that he really liked the car, but needed to convince his wife. He asked if he could 'borrow' it for the weekend, as that was the only way he could convince her!!.... Cheeky bugger! Of course I replied and offered to throw a bottle of champagne in with it....
  14. Blanked again today, this has been my worst October in over 6 years!!
  15. Are you sure that wasn't just a reflection?
  16. Say's the man sitting in Costa, watching these people! Perhaps they were saying the same about you??
  17. Sums up this trade!! I once sold a Lotus Elise on a gloomy, rainy day, in October, to a young Scottish lady......
  18. Just realised my post should have said 'quiet' not quite, can't edit it though....
  19. Have you noticed when you're quite, things really don't go your way.....? Had a message left on my office answer machine on Sunday just gone, older lady, enquiring about my Honda Jazz. She stated that she had seen on our website that we were closed on Sunday's so when could she come and view the car, as she's not too far away. I ring her back first thing Monday morning, and get a VERY rude and abrupt "you're a day too late!!" I politely explained that we were closed on Sunday, she replied, saying Sundays' were the only day where she could do things and she had bought another car now! (She was clearly retired and knew we were closed so don't understand what her beef was?!!) Phone call this morning on a VERY low milage BMW 525i SE from an older chap. Him: Hello, is your 5 series BMW still for sale? Me: Yes it is at the moment Him: Can you tell me (in an older north Yorkshire accent), is it as good as it looks on the tinternet? Me: No, it's even better! It genuinely is like new (It is like new to be fair) Him: Are the tyres all in good condition? Me: Yes, I'll just walk around the car now for you, yes, their all matching Dunlop Sports, with loads of tread. Him: They're not those runflat things are they? Me: Yes they are Him: Oh, Oh, I'll leave it then, thanks anyway...... You just can't win sometimes can you! If I'd had a busy week, he would have bought it there and then and paid for it in full!!.....
  20. Argh yes, the good old disconnected rear brake bias valve, I love arguing with my local mot tester about that every year!! EVERY year he complains about the rear brake efficiency, and points to the disconnected valve. Yes, I agree that is the cause of the poor efficiency, but it's suppose to be like that, he WILL NOT have it......
  21. Completely agree, which is why I own a 172 Cup...
  22. This is now on eBay item number 222678874402 £4995 complete with ripped drivers bolster and missing fuel cap....
