  1. Thankfully we don't sell boomerang cars....
  2. I just like to have the last word, but shall we call it quits and make friends??
  3. What he said ^^^^^^^^ I did say double negative, you must have read it wrong!!
  4. Isn’t that an oxy moron? Think you mean, ensures neither parties time IS wasted...
  5. I don't know how any of you buy them at the right money?! Every time I see one with sensible mileage and good history go through the block, always makes crazy money!! Always leaves me wondering how anyone makes any margin in them!!! I can never get near an A4 Avant....
  6. It wasn't owned by Ant McPartlin was it?!
  7. That's why I'm a miserable bugger and don't speak to anyone at the block, I keep myself to myself. Think that's why I like coming in here so much!
  8. Send him to BHM, would love to see him stick a rocket up that fruit cakes arse!!!!
  9. Peterborough to Fleet, including the underground came to £27.50 which I didn't think was too bad. The car I'm picking up has got half a tank of petrol in, so that should negate some of the cost....
  10. Train ticket booked for Tuesday, I'll put my walking boots on!!
  11. Interestingly, I've just done a deal with a really nice, genuine, affluent couple. Whilst I was typing up the invoice, they had a conversation between them about their current car, naturally my ears pricked up. But as it wasn't something I would stock, I let them continue... The Husband suggested selling it privately, but immediately the wife said, "Oh no, I don't want to be going on test drives with people, we'll just sell it to WBAC, Much easier." Now I don't think the car was a complete lemon, (they were changing to a different type of vehicle for genuine reasons), and it was a low mileage 14 plate. So, I know not everyone has honest intentions with WBAC and I agree it's a convenient lemon drop off point, but some people do genuinely sell their car that way for an easy life.......
  12. Do you not check the mot history before bidding??
  13. Not always, but I'm glad you feel like that, one less person to bid against!!
  14. I'm going to go against the grain here, and say I've had some of my best / most profitable cars from this section! I avoid anything 'sheddy' and anything specialist / sought after, as there is usually a reason why it's there!! But I've genuinely had some gems, the sort of stuff that the last owner didn't want the hassle / strange people turning up on their door step, and I'm convinced I've had the odd where the last owner has deceased, and the family have just got rid through WBAC. Agree there are a lot of lemons, but most of them should be easy to spot with a bit of experience / gut feeling....
  15. How many do you hold in stock on average?
