Can anyone recommend a reliable / trustworthy transport company / person? Got a car at BCA Enfield and BCA Birmingham I need picking up, ideally transported rather than driven. Given up with BCA transport as the last car i gave up waiting after 13 days!! Anyone using Movex, any good? Appreciate any recommendations.

Ha yeah completely agree! I was washing my cheapie runaround yesterday, and a lad from the business next door came over and asked if it was for sale! (It isn’t). Don’t you find when things are going well, people almost fall over themselves to buy a car from you. Other times, you have to check the phone to make sure you haven’t been cut off. Strange old business....

I really need to 'invest' in one of these, currently pushing my luck with a Lidl cheapie special.....

Been dead this month but did one yesterday and one today so things are picking up, a bit....

I was at BCA Peterborough today, watched a 1998 Volvo V70 2.0 Auto, was a 1 owner, great history, 57,000 miles, but was grade 4, flat battery, ABS light on, exhaust was blowing and made £1350 online!!!!!!

I've been using the invoicing tool through Autotrader, but they are not withdrawing it from 21st May due to GDPR. So what do you guys use for sales invoices? Years ago I use to buy those invoice pads from ebay, but don't want to go back to that as it doesn't look very professional.....

I would just remind him that you can't exceed 70mph in this country.... (And he's probably broken the law finding out that it has a speed limiter set.....) However, I agree with the above posts, much more sensible answers!

Thanks for the replies, you've all echoed my thoughts. I was going to reply and say that we don't send out 'sensitive' information, but they would be more than welcome to inspect the paperwork in our office, by appointment. But if he's a scam artist, which I suspect he is, then he's not worth my time. If he's genuine, and serious about buying the car, he'll ring, but I suspect he won't.....
