BCA - UNDECLARED FAULTS IN CURRENT AUCTION SYSTEM
Frank Cannon replied to Handjamjack's topic in General Dealer Chat
Ohh come on FFS. If you want to buy 'all good' cars at auction, avoid the car auction, buy retail and you even get a free balloon. Having a proper fit for purpose PDI inspection prior to sale is going cost a LOT of money and to my mind is unworkable but, if it did could be made to work you need think this thru a little. Where is the value to the vendor and, if you think there are too many civilians at auction now...... PS.....there can't be many dealers on here that haven't put a wrong urn in the block, got me out the shite many times and long may it continue. Or to be brutal buyer beware, a greedy punter has saved my bacon. PPS, I don't buy that a seasoned trader, buying hundreds of cars every year, shapes up for a lumpy motor, that's finest german tat and prestige german tat, in multi source, unassured but assumed a long MOT, full service history, service prior to sale is any guarantee of condition, then cries that the auction system is corrupt when it's not a peach....see retail with balloons. -

Put it back in the ring. If you insist on buying a non inspected car thru multi source though.....you win some, you loose some, risk and reward. -
7am to 7pm for online V5 change of ownership......do they employ a guy winding the computer handle or maybe a lady in a huge hamster wheel driving a generator for it

Fiat Multipla key remolt not working
Frank Cannon replied to Paul Falcon Cars's topic in General Dealer Chat
Don't listen to the haters Brilliant cars, used to sell oodles of these, great sellors too......those early 'high light' ones really are getting quite rare. Handle like they are on rails. The sunroof switches break for Italy though and were made from unobtanium many years ago. On the key fobs they can cause the signal light to show but not send a request pulse nia the RF. Have you checked the key is sending a signal on a RF/radio check box? Also these early FIATs use a dumb remote in that it simply operates the central locking, doesn't link to immobiliser or anything else. What this means is the signal reader from one car (interior light area) is matched to it's remote so you could in theory take the reader from one car with it's matching remote fob and simply swop over the reader and use it's remote. -

Budget Wednesday! Vat or cash back?
Frank Cannon replied to have a word with the wife's topic in General Dealer Chat
Personally I hope he does neither, you and me will be paying for it -
Yes, there is/was a guy who does camper van conversions, not been here a while though.

Same here, there are REALLY are cheaper cars for sale privately. Obviously a lot with undeclared Vcar status/cluster changes etc

Put it on T2T, should make a bundle, the clientele love german gear....

The 'cost price' isn't too important nowadays bar informing the nieghbours. The amount of 'buyers' dropping anything over a small dipper on new EV's or IC's is pitiful, the VAST majority are strapped up on lease, PCP et al. I want a 'fully functional' EV too but, maybe not in my lifetime.

Try looking the doc pack, there is often a COC lurking in there....I'm looking at one right now for a Kia.

I don't know anyone NOT paying well into book, you won't be buying otherwise and, empty spaces don't pay bills, be they supermarket, franchise, site owner or door stepper. I just can't see it easing too soon. The supply of 'out of PCP circle' price range p/x stock just isn't there...100%, totally, without doubt it wasn't rosey before C-19 and, it certainly isn't now from what little I see and poorly understand. 'Looky me' BBL vanity purchase gear, I agree is still silly eye watering, surely they can only be so many whom want a black speccy German rag top but, such is the want of many 'dealers' with fake Rolex and man bags. Contrary to what you may be reading - headlines of enquiries/leads/website hits 110% (?) up or and such like - it's a little like the EV cars. When you ain't doin' no business, well a few calls or few more sales on FA makes for a BIG percentage difference. I don't see them (OE's) shifting much 'new' metal as of yet, at least from what I'm being told from the 'mouths of horses...with a dog in the fight'. Seems everyday sees more main agents hitting the wall, sadly I can see a few more going? After all the theorising, maybes and "I can't see that's", well, at the end of the day what you pay is of little matter, it's all about what you can sell them for and, the profit across them. I have been marking my stuff up strong - in comparison to late last year - and, still selling on quality with NO discounts. I agree, I do see the economy really taking a bashing by late 2020 so fewer new car sales...flip that about though, same amount of car dealers fighting for used stock though, so prices still holding up.....even more so with pre' 2013 stuff if that's your bag.

I just knocked some up on the printer and laminated them

1m is the same as NO distance.....50cm each way....who stands closer than that unless you'll be sharing bodily fluids at some point. .....bloody hate them 'in your face,' 'invading my personal space' types at the best of times....my last landlord was like this, I could of recognised him from his dental records.

For some reason I've never understood, not declaring income to other employees is/was called a 'September Agreement'....?

It's very difficult to compare figures, there is no bench mark, so no consistency.....sadly
