Mate of mine has a 5 series bought new from Beemer Tring.....yes they sold him a monkeys worth of paint protection.....got a huge bird burn in the roof.....turns out the all singing ceramic/high tech/hard as nails doesn't cover anything that marks the paint.....like bird shite.....go figure. ....it's hard enough to get customers to stump up for something useful like a decent warranty, can't see the paint being any easier. Gap insurance always worth it but again many won't take it....go figure?

Few years back snowy winters day I bought a Megane cabby out of Peterborough on a Friday for a song, collected on a Monday, nearside front parked up against wall.....yes I know.... Drove it out, whoopee good box, nice car. Put fuel in it, coming back across forecourt, treated to the sight of nearside front bumper corner split right in two with smashed foglight hanging out like some comedy joke glasses.....got no where with that.

If you are selling them at 600 over buying in price I'd say, you aren't making anything across the bonnet, probably going backwards.

If they close, watch stock prices increase -
Ehh? A lot, nay most, main agents have a policy of all pxs going to auction, unless the car fits their own retail requirements with regards age, mileage and stock profile.

Yes, correct, little known part of auction buying.... I've had colleges not buy cars became of the "what if that one comes" and they would be over spent. I 'usually' find if it don't come within the hour, well then there are gold bars in the boot. ..... end of 1/4 gets some good results but not too practical to buy that way -

Bought one car this week, been bloody hard work again. .....my spies tell me even fewer new cars being sold, less business being done = fewer pxs about = continuation of high stock prices. ....if we see another lockdown the prices are going to go double mental. -
Joe Public will walk past a car with full main dealer history, freshly belted if the next one is a few quid cheaper....most are penny wise and pound stupid.

If it comes to it, refund by same means as payment -
When you really get into the French gear, you eventually learn that doesn't seem to be a standard spec anything

Sent the V5C off.....why would she do that Refund her. What do your terms and conditions say about rejection? -
Just been thru, I gota say Halogens with PIR are, in experience, way more reliable than PIR LEDs, both mains and solar. Shame because the solar powered ones work great and, soooooo easy to install but, last a year, usually 6 months....maybe my bad luck.

Yup, old trick, still works though, mad as it seems

Shaving prices won't help (unless massively incorrect) maybe the wrong colour, wrong spec, wrong wheels, wrong box etc. Customers are becoming more fickle

Without stating the obvious.....but I will. .....anything VAG or Bavarian
