A bit of advice not just related to this but in general. OP has a contract with the supplier. The supplier has a contract with the delivery company. OP has no contract with the delivery company. In these situations, whether it be a sofa, a piece of furniture etc, always contact the supplier. Secondly. If you sign for a parcel and it is damaged the supplier cannot use the fact you signed to say it was ok against you. This is denying your statutory rights. Here endeth the lesson.

It should be “in trade” so once sold tax it at the post office with a V62 in the customers name. Does 1 extra owner seriously devalue a car now? All those 2/3 year old Ferraris with 3 or 4 owners must be cheap

Didn't Vauxhall say it cost £750 million to develop. Which was a lot of money back then! You can see why modern cars share platforms and engines.

Dictating your ad down the phone to the local paper on a Thursday afternoon. Going into a main dealer and buying a px. Having a fault on a car and knowimg what it was. Getting the paper on a Saturday and seeing they had got something in the ad wrong. Chrome wheel trims. Vinyl roofs. Rinigng up the paper on a Monday and getting a discount on next weeks ad because they got it wrong. Waiting for cheques to clear. The main dealer who used to valet the px's for me and deliver them too (for a small fee) Having traders bring cars out to you. Buying a car and finding it had optional power steering. Explaining why 5 gears was better than 4. Having unlimited energy and enthusiasm

100% agree about the cambelt. When you put the reg into retail check all the others are facelift models so £4999 is the money. -

Dealer Auction - Any better now?
David Ayers replied to Wheelerdealer1's topic in General Dealer Chat
The problem, as I see it, is that many buyers are leaving or in AD's case choosing not to engage because of a few dealers playing by their own rules. Ultimately I believe this lack of regulation of sellers will kill the platform. Buyers will be driven away and the good sellers will then struggle to achieve the values they require. As soon as something new opens up DA will be done. -

I got a seconhand radio display off EBAY. Just match the numbers off the back. -
Main dealer level diagnostic equipment (and someone who knows how to use it of course) should give you the answer.
