Jump it or BUMP it? Jumping it would more be a battery issue surely? This sounds more like a battery/ wiring fault? Battery voltage is very important on these upon start up.

Quite cruel steering angle sensor faults, They changed from being part of the clock spring behind the steering wheel to being on the steering rack. If it wont reprogram it will need replaced, is the steering wheel straight when driving straight?

A faster internet payment can be cancelled that is made our of banking hours up until 9am on Monday from memory. And it can show as "in and cleared" on your account for Monday until cancelled Of course this would amount to fraud and theft, now no customer would do that surely? -

Anyone with a Cap subscription. We got rid of ours 5 years ago. They may give them to you for a one off fee. Google "CAP valuations" and give them a call i guess. -

Cap keep valuations going back ages. -
We tried to polish a windscreen last month with a kit from rejel on eBay.... it made a right mess of the screen. Its as a fiat 500, it’s no wonder the punters don’t change their wipers on time, they are bloody expensive for the fiat 500 from Euro.

Could have been £2000 I wouldn’t have put my money to it.
-
Wow... i thought 15 plate poverty ones were expensive at £7000!
-
Yes it’s really annoying that fault. I think it should have been a recall, darting across the road when braking is hardly a safe characteristic! i usually look hard for a used one. Have Johnson’s Vauxhall’s breakers not got one?
-
What is the fault? Is it no communication or for the pulling to side when braking?

ok... would you take £7200? -
Seemingly R134a gas will not be sold from 2020. So once the stocks have been used up I’m not sure what we are going to use. I think we will need to get the pre sales spot on with regards to ac working or not. apparently the cost of the gas is predicted to rise month on month by 30% until it has all gone Could be a good investment? (Would have been 12 months ago)

Seemingly there is a huge shortage that is putting the price up. We bought our last 12.5 kg bottle in jan for £205+vat. I’ve just bought two more today for £345+vat. I was advised by a local firm that has mobile vans doing air con gassing that suppliers could run out. And make it even more expensive

These are a pain in the arse, i dont know why they set up such a crap system. Can you not leave the sensors where they are and just switch the plugs? Bank 1 is usually drivers side? i think, unplugging them and reading the codes is your friend here And yes sensor 1 is in-front of the cat.

BCA and Manheim care very little for what is said on here. But none the less, as long as the truth is always told i guess there will be no problems for both sides.

Refund and sell to somebody else. Shit happens sometimes.

Hi Umesh, I feel that whilst this could be a good idea..... there are legal implications that could arise. Lawjaw might be able to advise better? Slander and defamation come to mind?
-
Dunno really. Probably one of two reasons:- 1. Because the manufacturers of gas want to make more money 2. From a tree hugging point of view - if its more expensive we might be more careful with it and not vent it to air etc... My guess is option one.
-
R134a has more than quadrupled in price... I don’t think anyone will be doing air con regas for £40 anymore.
-
My thoughts exactly, gas is surely classed as a consumable. We would ask him to bring it in and we would check the car over. He might have clobbered something.... i always like to get eyes on it before pie-ing him off.

Does the code clear and come straight back without starting the engine?
-
Is that the flap in the y piece of pipe on the top of the engine? the actuator bolts on separately, can you see it moving?
-
I’m not an expert on these, but even when you map them out the wiring and valves still need to be good from memory? I think a sticking egr is ok but a electrically failed one won’t work. The code perhaps relates to a flap/throttle. Do these have a flap that closes and draws more egr gases?

Along comes BHM any moment with his views on reviews.
