  1. Your local paint shop supplier will mix the right colour and put it in a rattle can for you. i find the colour and price to be better than Halfords.
  2. You still have title to them. However the landlord shouldn’t release them without confirmation as to who they belong to.... and I guess he needs his tenant to confirm. I’d get all Liam Neeson on the painter...
  3. If a dealer cant put their name to their cars..... We put them on every car we sell.... simply for looks and it helps when our customers return to spot them again.
  4. I guess its all relative to what the car is exactly and whether you want it back.... if you don't i usually make an excuse about having too many cars already..... Ps... if your going to chip him that try and do it face to face and record it.... you might get £250 off you've been framed when he chins you!
  5. The plot thickens.... Have you sent it across the water?
  6. Kia - Stay away from them nowt but trouble..... Worst cars ever... Awkward punters.... I don't buy many, and neither should anyone else
  7. I dont think you will need to, you will more likely get better advice here.
  8. Lets get this right, he has an established petrol station and workshop with a bit of space you can sell cars from and your asking if you can make it work? This sounds like a dream come true for some on here.
  9. Nikasil coating wears off... somebody will come along and give a long winded explanation. But they are designed to use a little to aid keeping emissions down, however this said coating wears off then they start to burn oil big time.
  10. Keep calm.... only two weeks until Carmageddon!
  11. Get the car back to your own trusted mechanic/specialist ASAP and find out the full story before going any further.

I think the pro buyers charge £40 - £50 (inc Ivan ) and they get free accomodation from auction houses. Collection from nearby train stations, pick of the bunch at the local strip club etc....
  13. Oh pants.... that’s bad timing. That might even have had the recall done and gone faulty, I’d be asking bmw before phoning the insurance. The fact there is a recall to do with the main feed wire from the battery to the fuse box behind the glovebox is very coincidental I would say with your fire? Me personally, I’d be going after BMW. However if it’s had the fix done independently (outside bmw network) I’d say you are on your own.
  14. Furthest for us was a sale of a Nissan Pathfinder to some Somalian pirates. Nice guys actually, the fact they bought in the middle of winter on a very cold night helped the negotiations part pass over extremely quickly.
  15. A new air con machine off euro is £1850 inc vat. A used one is going to be £500 They are very temperamental things and rarely last 5 years. A bottle of gas is now about £450 and is still going to increase in price. old machines waste gas when they go wrong. I think it would be a very risky purchase to make buying a used machine, and I don’t think you could get someone to put their name to it and guarantee it.
  16. Well that was a long, bumpy and windy road that took them to a cul-de-sac.
  17. You are thinking rationally, rational doesn't come into cockney rhyming slang.
  18. I bought some from euro for about £170 plus vat a piece. New units not recon ones. The pumps have a habit of braking up inside and this leads to a breakdown.
  19. If they fail within 2 years of the EA189 action, there is a trust building measure that covers the injectors. Dealers are fitting all four if necessary FOC. (Not available for cars in the trade - Put it in a customers name) The difference between some old injectors on these cars and new ones is vast..... its like the best remap ever the difference.
