Its one of "them" Strangers from the outside!

As has already been said. It needs proper diagnosis, Glow plugs working correctly? Fuel level must not be low etc. They aren't really too mush hassle DPFs it just a case of they often mask other faults which need to be rectified first.

Fiat Punto Intermittent Steering Wheel Light
Stalker replied to Dealer's topic in General Dealer Chat
Presuming its a electric steering model. Battery health is critical on these. If it only comes on when steering really quickly in either direction then it probably wants the column changed, Internalt torque sensor codes will probably be present when code read. There are plenty of reconditioned ones on ebay with a lifetime warranty. -
Check EGR and boost pipes. IMV on fuel pumps are quite common too for poor idle. We saw a car this week that had just had 6 new diesel injectors supposedly and a ancient fuel filter still on it.....

If it’s a 320d efficientdynamics, the flywheels are very expensive. If it’s a 316d/318d they are much cheaper. It’s a very easy job to do on these cars. Despite what anyone says your DONT have to renew the clutch every time if there is still some meat left on it put it back in, you only want to sell it not get married to it. Fix it, and try and get some money back off them is what I’d say.

So basically all of those that Worship Autotrader wont be interested in any price drops in the future.... and will actually request that they should actually continue to have price increases forever more.

I Had this issue a while ago, it seemed as though the staff at our local post office didn't know how to do it, i went back when a more experienced consultant was available and they sorted it swiftly, taxed it instantly and applied for a V5 using a V62 at the same time.

Ive heard problems from a "good" BMW mastertech, that these engines can have oil pressure problems that sometimes can only be cured with a replacement engine/ or major stripdown and rebuild/recon.

Case closed.... They are taking the piss. I must say, as these minis get older they seem to attract pot-less customers. Most of our "difficult" customers over the past 10 years have bought minis for under 3k.

I have just looked on ebay... there are plenty of options from what i can see. Including this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Vivaro-Renault-Trafic-Traffic-Crew-Double-Cab-Seats-and-bulkhead-kit/162899217780?hash=item25ed8ccd74:g:FmwAAOSwoBlagahC

Hyundai Tucson 2.0 petrol clutch and flywheel 2006
Stalker replied to andymc1973's topic in General Dealer Chat
Another project Andy? It Won’t have a DMF, and the DMF won’t alter the bite point. I would imagine that the labour may be around twice the price of the cost of the clutch kit. -
No i don't trust insurance companies, however... the thread is "self admin warranty" Not "insured warranty" We do our own... give it away for free... Our Customers love it.

HMRC now make the buyer claim the VAT back from the source. It is the sellers job to do all of the necessary checks to make sure the sale can be zero rated, i.e proof of export, buyers VAT number etc. It is also advised to take the VAT as a deposit until all of the criteria has been met. Its a bit of a minefield now... i believe the VAT used to be claimed back from HMRC direclty, however now they have back heeled it in the direction of the seller. GOOD LUCK!

Mmmmmm..... Because that installs confidence in a customer!
