Looking for advice after I bought an exported car
It's me replied to Marian TDM's topic in General Dealer Chat
find a solicitor conversant with motoring law is it the case a stolen cloned car was exported? -
at the small claims court the judge upheld that the partner had financed the sale so did have legal precedence just saying don't shoot me
-
it's not about the door handle though is it it's blackmail to get£500 back the part broken is £5 on ebay this car is a very wanted commodity and I'm sure could be resold to a more understanding customer I would just go up on Sunday with a mate do a cash transfer if that's how they bought it and let them have the hassle of finding another one in their budget I wouldn't be making reductions in the first month though, that's a big no no (currently sat in a p/xer outside my house no other cars here and the thing has a flat battery...... boo his)

excellent article today in the dealer news I've just sold a car with a current 8 months mot, my policy is although it's been serviced a proper full inspection and a 15 mile drive all signed off it still won't be delivered until an independent mot garage has given it a new mot can cazoo do that? no they don't, if it has 6 months mot that's all you get

This is quite true if you had been paid in conkers but in this case we are dealing with another party in the middle and the old adage do I need them more than they need me is always my first thought, before firing both barrels and shooting myself in both kneecaps

how much can you deduct, for a refund
It's me replied to Barclaywoodmotorco's topic in General Dealer Chat
Lawgistics recommend 45 p per mile but this is only a starting point (dated 5 years ago) As you have accepted the car back I would assume you have negotiated a fair price for both parties? Get it all in writing and get it all signed off So many if buts here it might still be wise taking legal advice -

It's me replied to petrol head's topic in General Dealer Chat
seen fords $60.000 over list if its needed for work and no alternative then what can you do i wouldnt use anybody in the future who took advantage to that extreme though ok overheads still need to be met but not just by the chosen few the manufacturers should be helping if they cant get stock saying all that there has been a lot of stimulus money over there and a lot of fraud, its interesting reading -
I still am getting the odd customer who wants a peach for their daughter and have a £1000 to spend but it must have full history, last time they bought a car off me was 1994 but it was a good one apparently
