  1. You're supposed to wear a mask whilst engaging in fornicatory activities, Mel had to cut a hole in hers
  2. Agreed, most folks buying cheapies, (£1500 - £2k) are actually quite realistic and if they get more than a year out of it they are well happy ................ Well that's how it works up here anyway
  3. Know what, I think all the Midgies have died of China Virus, we've had some stonking hot days recently, no breeze and no bites
  4. I could try that, yes we are both key workers, it's not reg to my business, my private Merc Collection don't go on business, but Mel runs a local small Supermarket, suppose I could say it's the Car she uses to commute and try that Thanks, I hadn't thought of that I'll get to it when I've sorted out Selwyn Froggit's Kia which is in a million bits due to EGR failed and Black Death ................. Jeez, I got a load of deceased old crap in here right now, no wonder I'm getting depressed lol
  5. Yep, during the C19 start of shutdown, like a twat I sent my SLK's V5 off to change the Engine cc and Engine # .......... How fuckin stoopid was I, not heard a dickie bird, can't contact them, and now I want to use the bloody Car when the suns out I can't tax it unless I drive 120 mile round trip to main post office in Inverness and pay the fee to get a new V5, which will have the old Engine details / cc on it :( Or I just leave the Trade Plates on it cos I'm still road testing it looking for that mysterious intermittent fault To add to this, since March I bought an E Class Wagon for Mel, took the pp off her C Class, put it on the E Class when the V5 arrived, and both Cars are now all legit on the MOT and Tax and MID databases, so obviously buying and selling is deemed essential by DVLA, but lost V5 and changes to V5 is not :( One day in the 22nd Century some form of normality may return, Covid spread will be returning in the next few weeks, judging by the number of twats who are now arriving in NW Highlands on a daily basis, despite them not supposed to actually be here ;) All the talk of politicians and police on the telly is absolute bollocks, they are policing fuck all :( Bonkers, absolutely nuts the lot of it, UK officialdom couldn't organise a fuck in a brothel ;)
  6. Mine went back to the 1960's, and your £25 was a lot better than I ever got
  7. Yes a sudden surge of new infections and another lockdown due to the way all the knob jockeys are currently behaving Be good if they do copy the items you mention
  8. LOL, 2 more won't make any difference, I wasn't trying to be neg by the way, just wanted to make certain you were fully aware of what you'll be in for ............. The first bit about the Camper Twunts in Scotland was more a light hearted look at how us who live hear see it ................ We also have "Roofbox twunts" and "Bicycle twunts" who also come here in masses every bloody year So realistically, when one of your 2 Campers comes back battered to fuck each week, how are you gonna fix it for the next guy who's hiring it later that same Friday / Saturday ? I wish you luck wi' it Which is exactly what I've done, I was going to build a 3000 sq ft Workshop on my land, I still might, but I won't be even thinking of doing so until around March next year, at which point I will evaluate whether or not to pay it back in lump sum, or use it and repay at 2.5% int. Meanwhile it is earning me more than 2.5 %
  9. LOL, 2 Pints, you'd actually very likely be over with 1 Pint There is a lot of local guys around these parts that will never ever be under the DD limit
  10. Yeah I took it, it's likely the cheapest loan funding you'll ever get ................ So I'm guessing that'll be 2 more fuckin' camper vans lumbering around the NW Highlands, putting fuck all into the local economy and crashing into folks parked cars, stone walls, and other property then just fucking off, after shitting at the side of the road and leaving all their rubbish in our laybys, verges and on our beaches ...................... If only I had a rocket launcher on the front of my Cars .................................... So, Mr C, being more serious to your business idea, if I were you, having seen the carnage these hired Camper Van twunts create when driving hired Campers I think, (honestly), that you will cost yourself a small fortune in repairs, your insurance no claim bonus will be non existent etc etc etc ..................... Just come and visit me on a Saturday afternoon, I'll take you out for a tour and you can see how the twats drive em around our roads, not just A roads, often up single track dirt roads scraping all the sides, Mirrors ripped off etc etc I would guess that the only folks making any money from this are the ones who sell new Campers and the Parts to repair them on a weekly basis
  11. No sweat buddy, just didn't want OP to go of on a tangent
  12. He doesn't have 2 faults, his Transponder Chip must be working or it wouldn't start at all, (says it starts with KEY BLADE INSERTED) You are right in as much as the RF Circuitry is not working, hence remote locking don't work and it doesn't start using KG Starter Button !! HTH,
  13. Me too, and the Beer How to win friends and influence folk ......................................................
  14. Hi, AFAIK, (haven't done Kuga Keys), but AFAIK, it must be the correct Key Fob, to even Start off the Blade, it is just there are 2 separate internal Functions ....................... There is a Chip inside which requires NO Batteries at all, which is used to un immo and so start via the blade ..................... The batteries work the RF Circuits in the Key, which does stuff like Locking / Unlocking, Keyless Start (KG) Global Open / Close (if fitted) etc etc. I would say that this Key Fob has a dead Circuit Board which will affect the RF, likely a Washing Machine victim You need to find an Indie Vehicle Locksmith in your area, i believe there used to be a decent guy in Brum, but it's been a while, hopefully someone else will chip in here Other than that it's pay the FORD Piper I take it you have checked all fuses on the Car that might be affecting the RF Reception, or at least Scan the bugger with Forscan or IDS to see if there is anything pertaining to Key Data, or lost Comms etc HTH, Cheers Dave
  15. not a dig btw, just think you may get a better response
  16. I know of some who have, probably best not to be discussing this on open forum, There is ongoing convo in the private lounge
  17. IDK, I was 8 years old in 1970 They were definitely issued by 1976 as my first weekend job in a garage was at 14 So we now need an even older git than me
  18. Nice Pic wouldn't see anything like them good old days now Yeah but no but lol ............... Might have been 60's IDK, but that pic is at least 70's as there is an Austin Maxi, Austin Princess or Ambassador plus a Sherpa-derpa and a Ford Mk III Cortina in it
