Give it a smack with a plastic mallet. I use a heat gun to warm the area a little first.

I’d be asking your local guy for a bit more info on this one. Putting used engines off eBay in is a lottery with that engine. That engine can be overhauled in half a day for less than £400 unless it’s been totally destroyed.

If it has already been assigned a reg number by DVLA, you dont need a V55. You can just do it via a V62 from memory.

V55 form. Prepare to jump through hoops with DVLA. Certificate of conformity may be required. Mot on chassis number(if it’s over 3 years old) Paperwork must be bang on or else DVLA will reject after 10 days and then it will take another 10 days for them to look at it again when resubmitted. Youmay need paperwork from jersey stating date of first registration.

Yes defo, the MK4 mondeo suffered from implausible switches on the steering wheel, its not common to have to change both switches. You could sometimes bring them back to life by pressing the living daylights out of them.

Its got water problems, about 15 miles into a journey it flags up low coolant message and the bottle is empty, let it cool and the water returns to its level. I wouldn't want her driving too far with it, Besides, Dave sounds like hes too expensive for me
