  3. noooooooooooooo ive still got 350 tax disc holders
  4. did i hear you say it crunches going into third ? a clutch wont cure that, honestly mate you cant vac it out at least ? ive sold some shite but i would scrap/ spares or repair that
  5. put sold in advert and raise the price a grand, competion will follow, expecting a good profit, sheep bahhhhhhhh

  7. Some banks have advised customers that they can still withdraw cash from ATMs.
  8. europe wide, just been for derv, cash only, over road homebase, cash only
  9. if your addressing "your honour" and not just "sir" i suggest a solicitor when i addressed "sir" he had already studied MY pdi, the claimant questioned " i havent had sight of this pdi other than when evidence presented by this defendant" this was short shrifted by my reply " the pdi is MY check to ensure I SELL a safe reliable car is sold, you were informed of my checking procedure at pos, and have disregarded it, its not for you as such, its for me ". i have just looked at the lawgistics pdi, [ i have my own pdi sheet] and quite honestly cannot see why a experienced motor trader can not fill this in themselves, theres a choice of 3 tick boxes xunsatisfactory ?advisory and "tick" satisfactory. its all quite simple.
  10. hit it with some freeze spray then try starting it, then put some on your back after bending over so far superdrug, £3
  11. worst decision, thought i could build one good gearbox out of two, that went through the block, first and third only, no reverse, told driver dont let anyone in, lock the door heres a fiver best decision, no sunday working
  12. Defienetly not a oscar wilde quote "imitation is the best form of laziness" but when i do my ads the local traders follow my words and more importantly my pics, i do pics of the speedo, they do it a week later, i dont put pics of speedo, they dont, i genuinely did do it first ! i once put all four tyres in seperate pics, boom, week later copied, one even had a nail in it i am going to next week put pics of the pedals/carpet condition ! lets see what happens there ! same with words, "new timing belt fitted last week, not due, but done for your peace of mind" now all his cars have ! but 3 of them have chains
  13. vw golf cabriolet litterally split in two, i saw the pics, trader sold it, police report showed brake pads low and one lost its friction material due to being so low, two tyres underpressured also contributed to driver loosing control, 2 of 3 killed outright, car was a mess, they had it 3 days, trader went out of his head big time, dont just think of a pdi as covering your arse, a car is far more dangerous than a shotgun.
  14. its quite simple, and i wish some of you would do your own investigations If your MOT has run out you can take your vehicle to: have the failed defects fixed a pre-arranged MOT test appointment In both cases, your vehicle still needs to meet the minimum standards of roadworthiness its never changed " to and from a place of repair" NOTHINS CHANGED ! Can picture it now, traders running round the hall revving up the diesels and trying not to spill there tea and shouting out thatll never pass a test
  15. a logbook loan is just a bill of sale, you keep the goods yet repay the loan, you dont repay the loan and the lender takes his goods back via the bill of sale, they dont need to put it on hpi, and dont, because the cars not on finance, if you buy the car they quite rightly have full title, you dont stand much chance of arguing, especially if your a trader, and no chance of getting anything off seller , what can you do ? credit check the seller, or, dont buy private.
  16. i took one in p/ex a fair bit ago, in fact he gave it to me and was quite honest clutch is slipping, i ebay auctioned it, full description, clutch is slipping, drives but cant guarantee it will get you home, it did i think, £130, guy travels over 100 mile to collect it, he came on train, no notice, just turned up, let him inspect it and he said clutch slips if you boot it hard yes, it was in description matey ? he walked, i took it round to scrapyard later that day, took a brand new battery off it, a quality stereo out of dash, and got £180 for the weigh in, and i have never auctioned another car on ebay since
  17. missing heat shield ?, fail, how many of those have you pulled off and wanged [thrown] to stop that rattle ?
  18. cat c cat d no longer its structual damage, and its on the first page
  19. i didnt mean dodge it as being underhand what i meant was you cant see if its been ex fleet if its in your name, sorry about the confusion maybe an other line in the sales invoice agreement saying something like might have been fleet car at some time customer to do own check before signing we cant due to data protection, it just gets dafter,
  20. statement from asa= “If a dealer knew that a vehicle was ex-fleet because it had previously been used for business purposes, then that was material information likely to influence a customer’s transactional decision.” so how do we dodge that one now then ?
  21. my experience of this "pence per mile" idea was not thought of as a suitable compensation route at all by a client, in fact it quite upset them quote from there claim = " i am not prepared nor legally obliged to accept your proposal "
  22. sometimes mats and flaps and a lolly for little johnny makes em change there minds
