  1. If you've grown to like the car, put your trust in it and maintain it well I would PX it though before the warranty period ends.
  2. Welcome to the forum D4B. In my book, the car has clearly been misrepresented, you were deceived by the salesman. Without a full LRSH, its value is diminished and might cause futurfe warranty claims. If you paid top dollar for a clear diamond you wouldn't expect it to have inclusions...... Looking at the "LR approved" site, all vehicles are checked and come with a full history..... http://www.usedvehicles.landrover.co.uk/commitment
  3. I bet whoever did it shot one out as soon as they got home...The empowerment of the "sticker" made them feel big and important..........It's a totally sad local who'll brag about his/her internet sticker prowess, the landlord will be able to find out who it is.
  4. A notice in the window stating “if anyone knows who left a “untaxed vehicle sticker” on an DVLA “in Trade” vehicle to advise the Landlord or local community police officer.....
  5. Its a real shame, I was intrigued on the "Magnificent 7" being the voice.. But when you sell yourselves as the epitome of being "independent Motor Traders" you should act in that vein...
  6. I wholeheartedly believed in the IMDA, I was one of the first joiners. But pertinent questions were followed by patronising and belittling, almost bullying public responses. At that point the IMDA lost all credibility.
  7. Andy. If it is on the public highway it has to be taxed, if its on a business premises and declared as "in trade" there is no issue. What you have attracted, is a bored, good for nothing cretin of a looser who will make it entire life long goal to target the evil Motor Trader Be warned, these people have no morels..... BTW, I am sure the landlord will be able to find out who the moron is.......Lots of loose mouths in pubs, equally people like to be "in" with the landlord, they'll find out..... Someone who puts a sticker like that on your cars won't keep quiet about it.......They'll be bragging about it.
  8. Same here, absolutely flat out at the moment with 10 sold so far
  9. +1. Don't borrow money, you then become a bitch to the debt. Let your business and confidence grow. Don't rush....
  10. It’s taken a long time for me to learn, but to have the confidence to simply ignore and delete these morons enables you to concentrate on polite enquiries. It gives you the belief in genuine buyers. These emails aren’t real genuine enquiries. like.. Mr Customer, if all you are looking for is cheap, I cannot help. May I suggest you don’t use the same principle when purchasing a parachute.
  11. These people are cretinous vultures. If you reply you've lost....
  12. Every Lexus I’ve had has taken ages to sell, I always end up giving them away promising “I’m never going to buy another” don’t get me wrong, I think they’re great cars, they just attract a very certain fussy type of buyer... The lesson today is don’t buy for buying sake when your shaking your “loadsamoney” wad at the auction
  13. Absolutely + 1. Trust your gut feelings, experience is learnt from pain & gain.....
  14. Buyer collects has always been my MO. They have to confirm on collection it drives, looks and is completely “as described”. That also have to sign the PDI and purchase invoice in person. Otherwise you just leave yourself completely vulnerable. The only vehicles I allow to leave me on a trailor are scrap. Simple....
  15. Really.... dear photo... please don’t be easy to upload like a simple (click upload).... just can’t get a picture. You Cls ck on upload media and nothing happens......
  16. Hi guys, silly question but I can’t seem to work out how to upload a photo onto this site ??? It just says insert other media?
  17. Keep following the T5 dream ! I’ve just taken a T4 camper day van as a PX, it’s s smart looking thing.
  18. I don’t agree at all with their concept. They may know the American market but they certainly don’t understand nor appreciate the UK market.
  19. I'm afraid I'm with Satan, they cost but AT ultimately sell cars...... Ebay works for me aswell Two great video platforms to sell yourself and the car to the billies
  20. Borrow borrow borrow, and feck the default............ That's the attitude
  21. JSR, you are a Private Seller, there isn't a market of 20 year old buyers wanting a basic C Class manual. These cars were all sold to aspiring company car users who want the Merc badge & the cheapest possible option on their drive. On the "used" Merc market buyers want top spec and they certainly don't want a manual... And I bet you bought it because it was cheap....... No offense intended
