  1. I understand it is my responsibility to return the vehicle to the seller in the event that I require a statutory repair or wish to exercise my right to reject.
  2. Rory, nearly all of mine are freshly mot'd and separately PDI'd by another garage, I use the MOT and PDI as part of the video to sell the car
  3. Oh deer, my roll has finished... Back to doom tomorrow with a smile
  4. I had a guy say to me ”I want to look at your car it interests me” I said I’m afraid, as explained in my video I only appoint confirmed buyers, he said I only want to look, also you are the first and I would never buy the first car I looked at.....
  5. Both keys have good batteries, intermittently 50% it won't start... dash says "start prevented try again" we've changed the antenna in the steering lock but its still the same...... Any ideas before it goes to the steeler.....
  6. I admit to being extreme, but I won't appoint until they've paid an upfront deposit.....
  7. Rory, he was your typical "i'll give £1800 cash tomorrow m8" my car is advertised £3000 no offers. Been stringing him out all day..... BIG SMILES
  8. I just had the pleasure of thes moron New message from: dean_s90 (226) All you have to do is my question you fuxking bell end. Il spend my money else where thanks..
  9. After a good November (nothing in the last 10 days though) December has started great with two sold already.....Feeling confident at the moment
  10. Sparky, I don't think anyone on this forum had any initial animosity towards the IMDA, I believe we all want it to work for the benefit of all of us. The animosity has grown from disbelief in the unprofessional, belittling, arrogant, patronising replies to simple genuine questions and equally the complete lack of replies. I have also spoken to several of them and they seem genuine guys who want to help, but as I've said before, I can't get my head round why they have acted the way they have. It doesn't look good.....Just my opinion............
  11. It’s such a shame the IMDA’s approach and responses to genuine questions were responded with patronisation and arrogance. Why, I keep asking myself why......
  12. I'm with you Grant, I've also had my best year with December still to go. As a Sole Trader, keeping your costs down is the key, and before anyone assumes.... I don't save on mechanical prep, all my cars independently inspected and PDI'd properly. I save £££££'s on the bodywork, wheels etc by not making a 10 year old car mint. I will also say, video has made a huge difference to my business. "People buy from people" and instilling trust and guaranteeing accuracy has made all the difference to my business, the customer knowing upfront who they will deal with and what they are actually buying is the key.
  13. I can understand why the buyer isn't happy, there are two mileage discrepancies. If there are mileage discrepancies, you have to tell the buyer prior to them purchasing and cover yourself with it written on the purchase invoice.
  14. If you've grown to like the car, put your trust in it and maintain it well I would PX it though before the warranty period ends.
  15. Welcome to the forum D4B. In my book, the car has clearly been misrepresented, you were deceived by the salesman. Without a full LRSH, its value is diminished and might cause futurfe warranty claims. If you paid top dollar for a clear diamond you wouldn't expect it to have inclusions...... Looking at the "LR approved" site, all vehicles are checked and come with a full history..... http://www.usedvehicles.landrover.co.uk/commitment
  16. I bet whoever did it shot one out as soon as they got home...The empowerment of the "sticker" made them feel big and important..........It's a totally sad local who'll brag about his/her internet sticker prowess, the landlord will be able to find out who it is.
  17. A notice in the window stating “if anyone knows who left a “untaxed vehicle sticker” on an DVLA “in Trade” vehicle to advise the Landlord or local community police officer.....
  18. Its a real shame, I was intrigued on the "Magnificent 7" being the voice.. But when you sell yourselves as the epitome of being "independent Motor Traders" you should act in that vein...
  19. I wholeheartedly believed in the IMDA, I was one of the first joiners. But pertinent questions were followed by patronising and belittling, almost bullying public responses. At that point the IMDA lost all credibility.
