From SMA Birtley (Now Wilsons) .... the auctioneer (little man from Leeds) announced "Ive been talking to the lady that used to own this car, and i can confirm that she likes a bit of leather on her arse!"

Think I'm joking ? you will see Good luck and all the best with it . Selling from Commercial premises brings an entirely different set of people Martin , but remember you only need One customer per car , Have fun and the rest will develop as you see fit

Hi MOJO we've done 2 of these blocked pressure sensor pipes now,no parts involved,so if you can fiddle a bit yourself its a freebee! As Bmx said its abit of a pain to see but we found it easier to remove the front wipers and wiper scuttle etc, then take off air filetr and pipes, throttle body and egr valve, then you should see the small diameter metal pipe,we used a piece of bowden cable in a drill and just worked in and out to clear the carboned up blockage.(you do have to remove the pipe to do this bit)regards,Peter

I started like you 18 months ago selling 5-6k cars from home, now selling it 10-12k cars and it hasn’t made any difference, they sell just as easy. Even sell the odd £20k car, no problem. I live in a nice area, so maybe that helps a bit. What you lack in customer confidence of having a professional facility, you make up for in the fact they feel reassured they know where they can find you - not that I’ve ever had an issue in that respect. Only thing I would say, is don’t jump into more expensive cars unless you can no longer physically fit any more at home. You are better having more lower price stock - more opportunities for sales. More expensive stock doesn’t always mean bigger profit margins either!

Found it on eBay in the end a bit cheaper but yes love AliExpress. Used to buy a few bits off there and sell them on eBay.

We all get these absolute muppets then! Chances are if you accepted his offer... Colin wouldn't even show up. For a wind up "Sorry Colin I've just sold the car today for 8500 to a cash buyer, if only I'd had your offer earlier in the day we could have had a deal. Thanks for your enquiry"

Even when you answer ‘Yes’ for a laugh theshe cnuts don’t respond, unless it’s with a barrage of ‘Cambelt?’ type questions - they’re just shitty arses. My answer would be no answer. Sorry, but isn’t the opposite true? I thought pitch lads, like main dealers, need to answer even numpty that contacts them whereas us one-man-bands can ignore people as we see fit.

I replied to one like this the other day, his comment was I can pay £9000 cash (the car was £14000) so I sent him the finance figures for borrowing £5k , not heard back from him.

I’d scan it and see what codes are present. There is a small diameter metal pipe that goes from the exhaust pressure sensor to the manifold that gets blocked up, its a pain to see as it at the back of the engine, to be fair the TC light and abs light normally stay on together when it gets blocked and will show fault codes relating to invalid data/ non communication between abs controller and engine control unit. If you get those codes, google nissan P0470, and there are quite a few forums that will show you where the pipe is is and various ways of unblocking it. The screens are on ebay, just search “Nissan Daewoo lcd display screen” (The radio units are made by Daewoo).
