Young kid and i mean young looked at 12 came in with his young lady friend who also look about 12, spent a while walking around the lot then decided he wanted the 09 clio extreme nice car looked like a perfect fit his misses giving him the big thumbs up he then asked for a test drive i said no problem but one question you have past your test and have your licence with you he said yes i passed my test yesterday as it happens, hmm i replied the roads are not the best at the moment there is a lot of black ice around our way not much snow which in my mind is just as bad and as you have such little experience i wouldnt be able to let him test drive it so i suggested i took him and his young lady out for the drive. To be told no way either i drive it so i can see what it can do or forget it, i kindly replied no worries forgot it already and off i trot for a coffee.

I had one last week sticky valve was a pig of a job to be fair, hope yours isnt the same also had grief with a 1.4 version which was also a valve issue with stupid lack of clearance in the engine, the 1.4 is the same engine as the mini and even the mini has far more room to work on. on my avoid list from now on sadly shame as they do drive nice.

Had a test drive cancelled this afternoon as the BBC weather man said stay off the roads if there icy, to which i replied its cold madam but not icy at present well i cant take the risk she replied. I despair sometimes i really do.

I agree stupidly low mileage cars always come with a bag full of grief, brakes gear box ect i also find people go crazy for them but never seem to get the top money the other end

I had a few that have got to 80 but nothing past that, last one the customer was advised by her "expert" in the family that the cat was smelling funny no dear thats the clutch.
