  1. Interesting...Sold a few DSG's and even a M.T Audi/VW in the past no problems Sold a few C4 picasso's no problems As for Renault I've only really sold clios the later ones are pretty good. A handful of Scenic II no major problems even an auto one! VW's I've had a few issues with mainly engines the 1.6 TDI is utter junk. MK4 Golfs are junk. Land rovers are brave but do sell for the badge. Peugeots are junk
  2. Big spec 2007 CRV I only got in earlier in the week today.
  3. Managed one this week but yes it has died off
  4. Farmers golf last month!
  5. A car doesn't have to have a leak to have mould this time of year just the general dampness of winter! Mould grows where bacteria is, usually seat belts, steering wheel and seats. Open the boot and let them breathe as opening boots sells cars.
  6. The other 2 codes on the ECU might be old codes that were never cleared from previous coil problems and could of been just one coil gone down. I would of had the car back cleared down the codes and then either test drive car to see which code came back or gone into live data to see which one is at fault. It wouldn't of taken 3 coils down in one hit.
  7. It wont be a proper job, well not to my standards anyway but for a quick valet its ok.
  8. They just offer all there cars on ebay. The photos match the background as per your link and also the text used. I've bought from there a few years ago as its just up the road.
  9. 100% Penton Citroen in Salisbury. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Cars-/9801/m.html?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEFSXS%3AMESOI&_ssn=pentonmotorgroup
  10. 1st one for me today as last few days have been a wash out.
  11. The mazda 6 good news then? had a mazda 2 once and struggled with it.
  12. 1 yesterday 2 today. Love this time of year everyone goes mad!
  13. Cap and glass's are only a guide they may not be 100% accurate. Some cars they, are some not. I use Glass's radar to see what i should expect in my area and this works well and usually gives more than the normal retail. I always work backwards. Find the car i want, what it should sell for and then bid accordingly. Rather than bid what the book says only to find it makes way below the book retail. As for Jukes the prices are all over the place on these anyway so don't chuck glass's and cap in the bin just yet.
  14. 1 done today not officially open until tomorrow but it was pre booked.
  15. Majority yes, ebay has always been the best for me.

    Meriva's!

Never had a Meriva not been brave enough!
  18. Not that I know of, most fully auto's are fine its really the semi auto that cause problems. The BMW 5 series can have problems though on the early ones. listed below are cars I've seen in our workshops but not cars that I've sold with gearbox problems Jaguar autos mainly S types Corsa easy tronic - more so the ECU rather than the box C2 with paddle shift C4 Picasso EGS Honda CRV auto A lot of people mention the DSG I sold one once and never saw it again, both my inlaws run DSG VW's with no issues. Just stick with fully automatics not this semi rubbish. I even sold an L reg clio auto and never saw it again I took in p/x.
