Just a thought: I wonder how many staples BCA go through?
Tom replied to jamslug's topic in General Dealer Chat
I think the staff up BB keep the staples in their pockets never known such grumpy staff! Go down bridgwater in Somerset and the red carpet comes out. #Justsayin! -
Oh I've been told different!
-
Rubbish! 2 cars sold! Apparently it is quiet out there!?
-
Do we need to be FCA approved still for this type of finance?
-
Yes they can be however I've sold dozens of cars with these engine and no problems. I only buy them with FSH and low miles. They need regular oil changes to keep the oil pipe clean to the turbo. Oil changes should be done 8-10k miles. The only problem I had was the oil seal on the oil pump which was a big job for a 50p seal. When buying any car with this engine Ford/Mini/PSA look underneath at the under tray and check for oil dampness in the corner near drivers foot well is a give away.

Yes have done some this way, if it gets a car sold then it's all good!

Zafira go for big money if they are clean I've been wanting one for a while. I do OK with the Grand C4 Picasso (with a manual box).

How long on average does each car take you to sell?
Tom replied to j4ck100's topic in General Dealer Chat
Average is 40-50 days for me some cars sell really quickly and others stick much longer but as long as it sells it doesn't matter. -
Every car sales should list their stock on ebay.
-
All ebay sales come under the current Sale of goods Act I'm afraid. If the car was clearly advertised with the gearbox fault on the listing and on the invoice then its tough luck to the buyer as he bought with this fault. The head gasket issue needs to be looked at by you and you should be given a chance to repair as it will be assumed it was there at time of sale.

I didnt open today but wish i had now, 2 people phoned me wanting to view. Damn it.
