    We've never been on AT...EVER! Motors did 2 sales last week, its getting better after a slow start. Ebay is the king look how many dealers are on there now compared to private sellers. The private sellers sell cars on Facebook FOC, there are dedicated pages around.

    No the grading is all to cock, some grade 4 cars are really clean, I bought a Volvo which was grade 3 and its unmarked inside and out its easily a grade 1 to me.

    When people come in asking for up to £1,300 off a car thinking they can get it, then my description above applies. If you knock hundreds of pounds off a car all the time then who's an idiot. You cant get a discount every where you go.

    Totally agree I had one the other day telling me my car was way over what parkers said?! Probably the same idiots who make "cash offers" hundreds of pounds below the screen price.

    Agree with Gavin Focus on used cars more rather than new Go round an do some interviews with used dealers and get their story Have a monthly mechanics feature tips of the trade/repair procedures some car salesman I know, know didly squat about mechanics.

    When will BCA put how many owners on the online catalogue like manheim do?! I always prefer to see (and hear) what I'm buying in person although I have used live online a couple of times.

    Do any of you deal with van sales or have a small selection of vans? Do you find them good news? I know clean low mileage vans are hard to find with service history and particularly now recession is over could vans sales make more of a comeback?

    I had a Lime Green Citroen C2 with green seats and only 31k miles and everyone said you won't sell that. Gone in a week, old boy bought it for the colour! Different cars in weird colours sell FACT. For me they should really have the two A's. Alloys and Aircon! A convertible must have leather etc.
