I know a girl who works for BCA and there's no info yet as to when they are re opening any time soon. My thoughts are its going to be online only , cant see how a physical auction can operate , but who's going to buy 60% of the stock without hearing it or seeing it , Cheaper stuff will be a nightmare for most people . Rules will have to change to sell 100% online in my opinion , no good return it , but who pays that bill

These sorts of business presentations that purport to be auctions and sign this that and the other will get come backs wont they . Just imagine how many punters are actually put off complaining though by signing that trader document . Only get one or two back , just buy em back , sell em again , bob your uncle . Chap we know trades on the numbers game , he reckons on 20 % moaners , 80% of them go away after being shouted at he says , the others he strings them out to dry till the pip squeaks then it only leaves one to buy back , they are that exhausted they take his offer of less than trade money . He has that brash in your face personality , BUT I also blame his greedy customers who probably researched 1,00's of adverts and found out hes the cheapest . As for the guy selling on what might be or might not be an auction , fair play if it works I suppose . Only thing that gets me mad is selling stuff that don't work properly and isn't fixed , that gets us all tarred with the same brush at the end of the day , because all punters have fell for the lets buy this one because its cheaper and had their arse burned .

Ling I was as polite as i could be in my response to your post wasn't I , To accuse me of blaming 5g next is completely stupid , what a silly comment as i never blamed 5G did i . My feelings personally are that the Chinese Government are to blame for this world disaster , they should hang their lying heads in shame . " my view " The people boycotting local restaurants are a direct result of me knowing a Chinese family running one near us , sold them cars serviced their cars so we know them well , People are not going to their takeaway anymore its that simple , they are distraught about the feelings towards them , but that's what disasters do . Thats a scary report of China Ling I know your Chinese by birth and I have no personal reason to dislike Chinese people , so this is not a shot at being nasty . BUT with just what you have told us here about the way the Communist Government go about control of people , it really make me wonder if the west has any business dealing with them at all . Casper in my head a 308CC auto diesel isn't worth the effort of a normal valuation reply , but we buy any car have stopped giving valuations now and so has our local Evans H place so getting rid of the undesirable heaps of poop has now got to rely on the value they are actually worth . 308 HDI SE FAP convertible auto , black , two Service stamps , last serviced 37400 miles , MOT has low pads all round , rear tyres nearing legal limit , 47k on clock , declared DPF fault with anti pollution light on and in limp mode , Bearing in mind we couldn't touch the car even if I could do the deal safely then couldn't get parts to fix it till probably August at best , £20 wotrth of Disinfectant and steam to just get inside the bloody thing i'm really thinking £50 and scrap the Fing heap That's going to be a difficult time isn't it . I personally don't get the difference between Delivery and handover if the customer arrives to collect a car . **Delivery **, you arrive with a truck/trailer and hand over at a distance , Q how does the paper work here differ from collection .how does the actual car differ from collection . Collection : Customer arrives not at the showroom but maybe the car park . Cant test drive car , cant touch paper work , uses bank transfer to pay , picks keys off the windscreen and drive off so its essentially the same as being at their House isn't it . whats 50 miles either way going to make a difference ? How does this work then , 24/7 calls me and asks if i can deal on a car for their customer , she passed finance , deals sorted and wants to collect . They wont pay out till customer gets to site with the car as they have been doing deals were they pay out and customer goes to collect but the dealer isn't there because they are closed for the virus . Makes me wonder if we are shut or not .
