HPI clean , Decent MOT , two keys his car as hes got his licence and V5 So far all good A few questions later and hes telling me what he wants , to be fair again hes not being greedy either as I would have hit him at that figure anyway . So far all good Ok fella I'll take that then I say , Give me your bank details and I'll Transfer and do the docs for you Now . Now here's where we go down hill Er Ok then he goes , " but i still want to drive it because i need it for work " how does that work fella was my response "Well i need to keep it till sept 20th when my insurance runs out because I cant get insurance on the new car till then as I need my No Claims . " But that's TWO Months away yet I say " "Well I'm looking for a deposit on my Swift and I will save it for you as I need a deposit for my new car and haven't got any money " You have to give the fella 10/10 for even thinking that's possible , I told him to go away don't be stupid , or sell the car NOW and put a deposit down while your catching the bus to work . Regards the insurance , leave it running if you must . They are getting more dopey by the week

Cant see the point of a business taking a loan if they cant make it pay , surely a business would have to be able to buy extra stock and sell it to earn the extra money . Many business types are not in the fortunate spot are they , take a hairdresser , gym etc they cant use extra cash sensibly Car traders have the opportunity but only if they have the space and advertising capacity for extra stock . Plenty of people near us have had the money and its been spent on various items from Quads , Caravans , American muscle cars , Motor bikes , New Speed boats , that's just what i can see not going to earn extra profit from those items Going to be some funny happenings next year when pay back starts isn't there , Great opportunity if they make it work though

BCA rang me this morning to ask if they had delivered two cars to us by mistake as they had lost them . My daughter rang BCA this morning to ask about an assured claim she had put in two days ago and the lady at BCA said you must be mistaken as its still onsite , daughter went well go and look as its here with me you plonkers it was delivered Thursday last week

Phila&s Rorys advice of sell with profit = read it 100 times , Don't bother with bent motors as stated just make you a busy fool , buy private too as Rory states hit them hard and often some you will win some you will walk away . HPI THEM ALL though , You wont buy from auction just yet as no experience to buy unseen online only and is at present a serious recipe for disaster . Hi 100k of other peoples money would be my concern £3,000 a month for just the rent needs to be thought of as nearly double that , More advertising More costs of prep VAT element if your not already More petrol costs Then repayment of costs of the money people invested . May well be a clear case of working extra to pay other people . work your figures out very well , be honest with yourself , if your going to work harder the rewards should be higher for you .

Whole V5 , even our UK MOT is useless to him as it will need an Irish version of the MOT . V5 is all that's required for Southern Ireland , we do a few a year into there and never been asked for a Conformity cert , all info he needs is on the V5 Tell him to tax it for a month if he wants to drive it away though

Talking Finance One garage i came across has changed name , took 50 k Bounce loan on two garages , so 100k, changed name and is adamant its not going to get clawed back . how these people sleep is astonishing Regards being in debt to some of the above figure is eye watering , Not my way . Charging admin fees for selective customers is not a good idea with trading standards or the FCA . Need to think of a charge for ZUTO but they do ask you or record if YOU charge admin so they can invoice that to the customer , Dodgy ground in my view selecting who you charge . like the idea of not charging IF customer takes finance with the trader as I'm sure that's dodgy really under some rule or another .

Nothing wrong with a profit and that's what to say to them . No BS , i have to make a profit because the tax man expects me too , or it looks dodgy . car retails at 5 k and with the prep , new wing , and a small profit to show the tax / VAT man its got to be £4,795 and that's doing you a huge favour because that leaves me £150 profit for the handling , you cant begrudge me a drink surely . Its all in the way you explain the the deal and not the number at the end .

Took our council 24 hrs to pay the money to us . 19 th March to now is a touch slow I would think .
