If they show me it’s left their account I’m quite happy to let them go, sometimes the payment is held for a fraud check though and they have to ring the bank. Alarm bells would be going off if the customer insists they can leave on just a reference number... It’s very expensive when you sell 150+ @ 6k ..

Clever key word spamming... https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-policies/search-browse-manipulation-policy?id=4243 -
Never needed a card machine in 30+ years. Bank transfer 90% of the time because its free, or cash for those who have just sold theirs and have a wad.... Not interested in a card machine, definitely not interested in those who only pay by CC.....

I agree, some do skim through it, either because they're not that really interested or its simply inconvenient, or they are on the move, busy etc .. But, when told, to sit down if they want to save time and money they either watch it fully or disappear...... The light is then either turned on, or they realise they can't waste my time on a “Looky Looky whim” without paying me £100. -

If you are a car buyer who hasn't changed their vehicle for a few years and are looking on your new mobile via AT / eBay app its really difficult to find the sellers description, let alone a video..... Its like, they are designed to make it as difficult as possible for the customer to find the important info like ( the sellers actual description ). Instead, they are bombarded with FINANCE FINANCE FINANCE, HPI etc...... AT is solely designed to give them more revenue, not to enhance the sellers advert, or make it easy for them.... its all about AT and whats best for them....... and we are BITCHES to them.... -

How do you price buying it ? Did you nick it ? -
I have always been reluctant to offer a warranty, but after considering the Lawgiistics booklets and advice form Nik and others I adopted them this year. I’ve paid out twice, once on a water pump and some other pipe thingy, both within 30 days and not covered in the warranty, both I paid in full remotely no quibble as a matter of course. Both customers very happy, I would have done it anyway, but it shows the customer you have gone obive and beyond.....Both, non screamers and only £400 on nearly 30 cars sold in that period...

Thanks the thing is, you only every need this if you get an unreasonable customer, none of us want the grief because its simply not worth the battle. But, sometimes you have to stand your ground. You learn to protect your interest, do the job right and cover your ass. I appreciate your appreciativeness Grant ... -
Love it

I'm not sure if this is strictly true.... He has a duty to be fair to both parties, he found out during your case that there are mitigating circumstances to the outcome, it's up to her to now prove this. What opinion have Lawgistics given you ? Please explain...

Thanks Rory Cheers Mark

Mark, what sort of cost would the tinting be at trade, i enquired locally by email for the coupe rear windows and got a quote if £138.... seems expensive?
-
You can actually temporarily cancel, I do it twice a year usually for 3 & 2 weeks. HTH

I expect they'll have a fixed price repair....... Dave is it the friction plates that go ?
-
No problem, without knowing its full details I have no way of knowing... I've got a coupe Mark which hasn't had a sniff......
-
Repair it and sell it, some cars cost more to prep than others, that's the game. The next car may not cost you a penny, its swings and roundabouts, its also a great bnenefit....New MOT, just serviced, new rear dif, prepared to the highest standards etc etc.....

She didn’t give you the opportunity to repair and at no point had she every stated there was a fault. She hasn’t proven the fault was not subject to the CRA exclusions. Turbos wear out as we all know. Btw, I resently won a case for which I didn’t submit any costs in the paperwork claim, the judge however, asked and awarded me costs in the court. Best of luck, keep us posted. AD
