The thing people think our business is easy. Buy a cheap car at auction, wash it and then make thousands.... Cloud fecking cuckoo land. We are professionals.

Arfur Dealy replied to Autolink100's topic in General Dealer Chat
Try the good garage scheme, I would ask the customer to chose the most convenient to him HTH https://www.goodgaragescheme.com/pages/map.aspx?loc=penzance -

This job isn't easy. If you can't make money on bangers after two years, I don't think this job is for you.

We have a family vehicle for the wife and children.....I get bored with the same car, so normally I tax the lumpiest piece of stock I have and smoke it until it sells

I disagree. If you’ve shaken hands you stand by your word. To back down is dishonourable. If however, they prove to be major grief prior to paying the balance then advive them youve chosen not to do business with them. But, to make the decision welsh out solely on greed is wrong.

I treat people how I expect to be treated myself.

Exactly my point. You are honourable and a man of your word. As soon as you shred those morals, you simply cannot be trusted. To make excuses is just bollocks. To shake hands with a customer, to agree the terms of the contract and then feck them off through greed is utterly wrong and should be denounced. End of.....

Some customers are absolute scum, they are lowlifes. The point I am making is about my personal business integrity, whether I can be trusted and that is exactly how I sell my cars on TRUST. If you lower yourself through greed you cannot be trusted and that is exactly what you have announced. I'm being open honest and transparent as always

Bang on....

If you’ve accepted a lesser offer that’s your choice, you take ownership or it and you should honour it. Otherwise what’s the point in accepting an offer and a deposit. I’m really shocked, I would of never expected you NIk to not honour your word. You are saying to the world, your deposit process cannot be trusted and you are prepared to waste a genuine customers time by not being an honourable business. Do you realise what you are actually saying ?

Bang on.

A deal is a deal, you shook hands, your word is your bond......

Selling through BCA PX Disposal
Arfur Dealy replied to GentlemanJames's topic in General Dealer Chat
If you are selling on ebay and getting comebacks then you either aren't being honest or brutal enough. Don't mince your words or make it out to be nothing less than you are selling shite, the plastic traders love shite, be honest sell it as shite and invoice them justifiably as scrap, unroadworthy & tailored away. You can however sell the dream......
