  1. You could have had the v5 by now if you had just applied for it
  2. Got a customer very keen on coming to view and drive it away today. Post office is closed so how would they go on about driving it back? 2 hour travelling to view
  3. It's steady on but every where is quiet go down to your local building merchants even they are struggling. Bills are getting paid and we still alive so enjoy it whilst it lasts
  4. I got my popcorn ready today
  5. Go on then how much is it gonna cost? We might aswell have a laugh
  6. True. One of my pals rang me yesterday for some advice on what to do as he used a reputable garage which he's used over the years he had a timing belt water pump kit fitted last week on his wife's audi a3 all parts supplied by garage from tps and fitted only for the timing belt fail on the motorway and kill the engine. Simply told him it's the garages responsibility as they fitted and supplied the parts now if he would have supplied the parts and the tensioner had failed like it has he would have been in a tough spot
  7. See them all the time at Leeds but my word you have got to be very careful but some bargains to be had
  8. Only ever had 2 cars off this vendor and not much needed doing apart from a clean. I know understand why
  9. I would have thought been in the trade it was always a good idea to source your own parts as cheap as possible and have a reputable garage fit them correctly as we are all here to make money. Dave I do understand your point of view but am guessing not a lot of car dealers will use a garage that will charge a fortune and take all the profit. How do we know the op didn't get a quality brand clutch and fitted at a reasonable price which to be honest as a motor dealer I couldn't see much wrong with and am sure most would agree.
  10. Strong money but it is grade 3 not bad for year
  11. Had this b4 and you did right, next time that auctioneer will know not to mess you around
  12. Oh how I miss sma Leeds now it's bca don't bother going as it's just a race for the auctioneers to see who can finish fist and not how many cars are sold
  13. Guessing by 2050 the cost of electric cars will have come down in value and by then we will all be travelling by flying cars or something similar if any of us are still around to see it of course
  14. Still plenty of time to keep making monies then
  15. If you know this person as a friend best advice would be stay clear and tell them to sell it privately. If it's a customer buy the car at trade price and flog it
  16. Agree. Times are changing not just the motor trade people are now using recycled materials to build houses as it's eco friendly. Time will tell and 1 way or another we will just have to adapt like it or not. Personally glad somebody has started a discussion about this and not just another newbie talking nonsense. Kbw great post and welcome
  17. Arfur dealy will be the best person for this
  18. https://www.mirror.co.uk/money/diesel-drivers-now-due-compensation-14991815 Reading this put me off from buying diesel. Where there's a blame there's a claim society is enough
