Hes a lumberjack and hes ok I know what you mean dave, we constantly have to do these shitty jobs FOC, we have an old bird that we have just put a clutch in her 11 year old Matiz, now the alternator isnt charging and its our fault! Its currently parked on my recovery truck until she comes to her senses, if she doesn't, its getting dumped on her drive. -
You can lead a horse to water!
-
This coming from the guy that cleaned his floor 26 times in a morning!
-
Very impressive. I can see a first line box, i thought you didn't fit them The good news is that the corsa-d does exactly the same thing! We had a 4 year old grande punto fail on a rotten subframe, i threw a right old paddy with the tester and said he must be talking shite... It turned out it was me that was talking shite

Definitely this answer.... You could always try and buy it again and then sort the problem out?
-
Dmf 100% Eurocarparts is the cheapest in our experience.
-
BHM, it also must be noted that DMF rattle is sometimes cause by a running issue on the engine, injector over fuelling, misfire etc. We we had a Mondeo 1.6 tdci with a noisy dmf, plus idling poorly. It had a high pressure pump fault that cured when fixed sorted both issues.

You guys are too soft, surely he can scatter a few nails on his Driveway.... smear dog poo on his door handles.... pour fish guts on his windscreen so it goes towards the fresh air inlet .... fill his exhaust with oil so it smokes like a trooper. The list goes on -
If you get a passenger front door lock go down, i have a brand new one on the shelf! Customer never came back for it!

This sounds interesting, Siemens/VDO/Continental must be involved too? The 1.6 tdi is a Siemens ECU and injection system, the 2.0 tdi is Bosch.
-
Yes the glow plugs are critical, as it blasts the diesel directly at them on the exhaust stroke to vaporize the diesel to heat up the DPF and start the regen procedure
-
Plus they have at the touch of a button, the knowledge of where EXACTLY in the country that EXACT car will do the MOST money.

Can Anyone Help me with a SKODA Fabia 2005 Electric Windows issue
Stalker replied to Dave2302's topic in General Dealer Chat
Has to be driver error surely, Most of them are alloy so that should rule corrosion out..... although he is in Jockland. -
Yes it’s not that bad to get the air box out and gain access. Its easier to get at on ford cars with this engine fitted, of which we cleaned around 50 last year with zero comebacks afterwards.
