Nothing on my website at the moment as I’m on holiday, it’ll be back up mid April. You can still watch my YouTube videos.

Mark welcome. If you can trade from home with up to 12 in stock and without hardly any overheads you should make a jolly good living. Do your best to keep your neighbours on your side, don’t take up anyone’s parking spaces, don’t get cars delivered to your home, be very discreet. I would also befriend a local garage, give them all your mechanical work and once “trusted” ask if it’s ok to meet your punters there. Because as soon as your neighbours within your area “gets wind” that you are using your home for Motor Trading there will be complaint letters to the council, jealousy and a genuine hatred towards you. Be warned, I know this from years of experience. Other than that, its hard work but very rewarding. I wish you the very best of luck.

Fantastic S&B. I’m gonna save that one in the memory banks

You shouldn’t of ignored his first letter, you should of writen back requesting (as per your PDI) he returns it for you to fully inspect with a reminder stating clearly “wear n tear” expected of a 15 year vehicle is specifically excluded from the CRA.... Its amazing how many chancers disappear.

I’ve bet you’ve bent over backwards from start to finish to accommodate him, and he’s paying you back by thinking he can take advantage of you. I hate punters like this. In no uncertain terms, tell him it’s his responsibility to check the car thoroughly and to show due diligence at the point of collection. You can also prove this. If his vehicle has been damaged since then it is solely down to him. (I wonder if he insured it).....

Try being as car dealer, you have a very very simple life..... -
He wouldn’t be a private seller with that many listings.

Rotter !! Results so far. January did 13, Feb 11, March 4. Good margins though. It does seem quiet.

What is with these people who hide behind email making demands... The reason they are emailing is because they don't actually want to speak to you and form a verbal relationship. They are just phishing. I take all email inquiries very seriously, but my reply is always "please call me personally to discuss and I will do my very best to help you". Genuine interested parties call, its as simple as that IMO... -
Did it sell....

B2B is covered by the Sales of Goods act not the CRA. The vehicle still has to be "as described", if the have put a written description to the car which is misleading or incorrect then they have stitched you up, it is their responsibility to advise it was faulty. If there is not written condition or description then take it on the chin.

Discouraging Offers and Low Ballers

Distance selling, Scotland to England. He didn’t respect me, nor would he of respected anyone. He seriously thought he could bully me and I would bend to him. Even after telling him I wouldn’t. He was a moron. Laughable. I bet he didn’t get the money he was waiting for. Consultation fee. -

Dsr’s are for 14 days. He asked me to wait longer. That’s exactly why I took a larger deposit, he confirmed acceptance by email. He refused to honour the contract. End of story.
