TV, what trap are you laying re usage ...do you mean they lie about the miles they have covered. If the car has been accident damaged and not repaired JIGGED geometrically correctly, I would say irrespective of age, mileage or use then I would offer a full refund minus any mileage + costs. Or, offer a geometry check by an independent, but if its straight or within tolerances he pays..... If the wheels aren't inline the car is dangerous and not fit for purpose... I wouldn't be wanting Trading Standards to get involved, they really don't like dealers selling bent cars.... JMHO

I get your drift, but it depends on how you advertise with eBay. For me now its classified only, auctions are abused and repeatedly abused, why would eBay change it when they get continual fees...... Their auction system is fundamentally flawed.

When I won my case, the Magistrate said to her he was refusing her the right to appeal and asked me if I had a claim for costs..... I wasn't prepared for that, next time I will be I just looked at the evil bitch with a biggest smile and walked out. I could still hear her screaming and shouting on the floor below. I walked out of Exeter Crown Court bouncing like a Tigger, it was VERY memorable.. See, its given me the confidence to do my job right (which I do) but equally say no when its not, you have to explain to billy that maintaining their cars is their responsibility.......

I personally have absolutely no tolerance for “no shows”. It is the main reason why I only appoint confirmed buyers. I reassure the “client” the deposit is fully refundable on collection if they disagree with my video. It calls their bluff before they try to waste my time.

I’m absolutely the same and wouldn’t want to work any other way. I have a unit which holds 20 cars and advertise solely with AT and eBay. Every one on my cars is sold online prior to viewing. I don’t facilitate viewings at all. Confirmed buyers only.

A, independent MOT and PDI shows you have done over and above due diligence. We shouldn't be scared in saying no to wear and tear issues, the CRA is designed to protect us equally, wear n tear is specifically not covered.... I say it to every one of my buyers Mr customer, I appreciate your purchase but taking ownership for expected repairs or maintenance are your responsibility.

I wouldn't touch one, it'll attract a the cheapest pocket most highest expectation type of buyer.......Beware

A warranty is an insurance policy. Do you trust insurance companies, I certainly don't... I would rather trust a reputable Dealer on his word...
